This Buick was a real gem. Wish we could have got some footage of the undercarriage. Really well done factory restoration. I see the real potential of Buick GS's now.
Found this again, 2yr later, and just noticed, This is the first and only time I have seen the full center console in a 4 speed. Wow, it's really nice. Had a '70 Skylark Custom, same white interior, but automatic w/bench & armrest, white vinyl top, but Saddle Brown. (350 2bbl w/Kenne-Bell cam, 🤭 blew away any stock 4bbl)
Early 1970 model year production as well. Plastic core support brace, clear top overflow, pointed lenses, long armrests. Car was originally built in Flint.
Stylish video, super attention to the detail! I own 1971 GS Convertible (code 75 Fire Red) project, but this dark maroon color is tempting.. What's the color code?
I heard about those 455 Pontiac numbers. We have a 70 GTO Judge with a 455 stroked to 600 coming on our show in a few weeks. I have a whole new appreciation for all this Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buicks these days.
A criminally underrated muscle car

Not underrated by those who know.
Not only you have a gorgeous car but a piece of history in the musclecar era.
Nice restoration. Quality build

I thought the 426 hemi was king until I found out about the bBuick stage 1 455....Wow hat a beast 🤩🙌
The GS 455 was a lot more pleasant to live with than the sometimes temperamental 426 Hemi.
What a beautiful monster of a car. 510 lbs of tq.
I can't tell you how smooth that car drove too. All that power and very luxurious for 1970.
Hell yeah Bad @$$ Buicks gettin some Respect 💪🏾
Many people just don't understand that Buicks were the Grand Pappies of muscle cars!!!
I owned a 1970 Skylark. What is that color? Gorgeous!!

The 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix 455 had 500 ft lbs of torque as well as the 1970 Cadillac eldorado

1970 500cid cadillac had 550 lb-ft. I have 68 472cid cadillac with 525 lb-ft. Buick with 510 lb-ft of torque was the king in mid size cars.
@@arti003 damn those caddy’s had a lot of torque my aunt had a 71 eldorado that thing would hit the back bumper when she would punch it at a light
