Boskovic so great! She improved her service so much! She's showed aces and fewer mistakes since the DHL friendly matches. Also I'm happy Mihajlovic had a good game today!
Obviously you don't watch her for long. She had even better jump service early on, for a few years, then for some reason switched to soft serving, and now is back to what works best (she didn't err less serving softly, and strong serve is certainly more effective).
@@59vlada No, actually her serve is better than ever. She made 5 aces in 3 sets today and only 2 mistakes. Also, she almost broke speed serve record today with 106.8 km/h. So yes, her serve is much better now than before.
@@cptovar5700 Back in Rio (2016) she served 100mph, last year she had 107.5 (vs. Russia) and 110.3 (vs. Turkey). She had 6 aces against Korea at the last Olympics (bronze match), etc. But, hey, she serves much better now, how could you go wrong :~)

Boskovic is incredible. Somehow she's looking fitter, taller, high and better. She's exceptional!
I hope they'll improve their defense,blocks,and receptions their receivers are so terrible even the libero makes a mistake on a jump serve it's so annoying to see it

Drca is actually very good. The difference about her and Maja is, Maja used the middle a lot of time, while Drca prefer the hitter.

I agree. People are constantly making comparisons between these two players and claim that one or the other is the best based on their likes or their cheering. It is a very stupid thing: as an italian I have never said that Egonu is better than Boskovic because the truth is that they are two absolute champions, at the moment the best in the world and the continuous comparisons between the two players are only the chatter of who not serious things to say
People forget that Boskovic is a superstar long before Egonu. Both are great

Mihajlovic is back!
She might as well retire. I used to be a huge fan of her, but she is getting worse, every year. She was injured and not played for so long. Around 2012 she was quite an athletic player. Right now she can barely jump, doesnt have that explosiveness and consistency. I think it s time she leave her place from national team so youngsters can take her place and do a better job..

@@faz-44 She still has explosive shots. Yes she is over 30 yo but still good. I guess she wont retire from national team for at least 2 more years, however we have 2 promising OH youngsters, Tica and Uzelac, they will get chance in VNL next year hopefully.
@@faz-44 she will play for at least 2 years more, and we have katarina lazovic and lozo and busa who are top class OHs
@@faz-44 compared to her recent previous stints, the current is better, though not as explosive and as strong as the 2016-2018 era. Considering the roster, i would still pick her as my primary OH.
I can see how improved of Canadian team 🇨🇦. Keep going girls. You will be on the top some day.

Di tahun ini, dia tidak ikut vnl... Selain buat persiapan kejuaraan dunia, tentunya sambil beristirahat juga, biar tidak identik hanya tica. Serbia itu tim. Bjelica menggantikan dg baik. Dan... Well the face-off isn’t quite fair. Boskovic is left handed, while Egonu is right handed. In the end I would say Egonu is the best right handed diagonal in the world and Boskovic is the best Left handed diagonal in the world. At least in women’s volleyball 😊

Tactical decisions. I guess Santarelli is going to rest Boskovic tomorrow, so Bjelica can play. So today wasn't the strongest line up, but in order to still being competitive, they need Lozo and Milenkovic tomorrow, specially with Mirkovic as setter.

,blocks and defense in the back court , because if they don't the setter will set the ball all the time to Tijana and all their opponents will know it already they need to use their Middles a lot too just like what Maja did last year

What happened to 2016 Serbia's setter? I forgot her name. Did she retired?
Maja Ognjenović. I believe after discussing with Santarelli, she chose not to be in the team for this championship. It's not official of course but she might have retired from the national team.
She was invited to play but she refused this year. She is 38 and had a hard season for her club this year so she needs more resting. She will consider playing in Paris 2024 to be her last appearance for national team but who knows, she might retire sooner. Eventhough she is 38 she is still ranked amongst top 3 setters in world in 2022, hope we see her with national team few more times

@@zackd2852 According to rankings for 2022, Carneiro from Brazil and Ozbay from Turkey are the only ones ranked higher then Ognjenovic, although for me personally Ognjenovic is still the best despite her age. However Bojana (setter here in the game) is also really good, she was a setter back in 2017 when we won European gold, she is underated even by Serbs cause she was always the second option for national team behind Ognjenovic but still, I think she is really good
