How do I know if daisy-chaining the 12V PWM will not exceed what my mobo header delivers? I read that you shouldn't connect more than 1 case fan to a mobo header. Is daisy-chaining the PWM only safe through a separate (case or ARGB) controller that gets its own additional power from the PSU?
bro, is 66CFM rating is not good yet? im currently using case fan with 48CFM only. im planning to buy this fan because of the CFM rating is much higher with my current fan
Question. I have these with the thermalright fan hub controller. When the I shut down the PC, the fans continue to spin. I tried plugging controller into CPU opt and regular system fan1 header can't get them to stop spinning. Any ideas?
I suspect the controller is doing something weird as these have standard headers on them. Maybe a faulty controller? Although your power to your molex/sata power cables should go off when the system is shut down so maybe a fault with PSU not shutting it off properly.
I have heard that if I Daisy chain them only the first one directly plugged in to the motherboard will be pwm is that correct? And will the RGB work with ASRock Polychrome?
