yes you can do Hanle -Photila -Hanle in a single day. You have to start a bit early though.

from pengongso you need to go to nyoma (ni Halt) then from there to hanle( ni halt) from there to photila and then umlingla and back to hanle ( ni halt) .

Dear brother, when i ride i carry a series of cameras from helmet mounted to bike mounted and point & shoot cameras with tripod ....as i pass through roads i do interact with locals and also tourists travelling in taxis and bikes as well as BRO / security forces personnel working there and its with their help i do get some memories of my ride. If i had a camera team , i assure you that the quality and quantity of the shots would have been truly amazing for these places are very very beautiful.
