There are about 700 castles and strongholds in Aragón region, and a list of the few most important ones, Loarre castle is the first on the list, i personally know another one on the list, Mequinenza castle, it was restored in 1959 and even decorated to resemble its glory times, as happened with the other castles, they brought stonemasons from around the country to rebuild it, and during the restoration they made an extra bedroom carving in the exterior wall
I explain about the castle of mallorca. In mallorca there are no rivers and the water from fountains is not always accessible, otherwise the water collectors are used. In the center of the castle there is a cistern that indicates that in the subsoil there is a large cistern to store rainwater. That is why the roof tiles of the castle, if you see them in the picture, are quite inclined to help the water to go down.
Howdy! I think I have figured out how to post my video on Mezquita, Córdoba , León Cathedral , Basilica of St. Isidoro , Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela , Burgos Cathedral , Toledo Cathedral , Sevilla Cathedral , and Sagrada Família, Barcelona. I should be able to publish it soon. Thanks for checking out my channel!
Americans basically know of Europe countries where the USA was in World War II: Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom... since Spain did not participate in WW2, it has always remained a little-known European country in the USA. Although In fact, the Spanish helped the 13 colonies to achieve their independence from England, since the Spanish governor Bernardo de Galvez, from Florida, harassed the English and helped the rebels. Spain is similar in size to Texas, but with the climatic and landscape diversity of a continent, in addition to a historical variety unique in Europe.
Well, you can have your preferences about European countries and architecture, but you should know that Spain it's in the TOP 3 of UNESCO Heritage List and 15 cities as UNESCO Heritage Places. That's facts. I'll try to add a link in other comment about this, bc if you likes castles and fortress, you need to see the Motilla del Azuer, the Copper Age city of Los Millares and its fortress around, and the great walls of the Argar culture city of La Bastida de Totana.

I don´t know why Peñiscola Castle is in that list... is very small and is full of new buildings , I would have put the castle of "la mota from Valladolid" instead or "Manzanares del real on Madrid" or "los templarios in Ponferrada"...I mean theres a lot better than that one.
Honestly? Because I screwed up. LOL. My guess is it had some copyright nonsense and the song selected to replace music ended up being the whole video. I will fix it. THANK YOU for letting me know. Let me know if any other videos seemed messed up. AMAA
@@Average_Middle_Aged_American You are welcome. Thanks, that was a fast fix! I will watch the video again, I am curious about how you look at us in Spain. Castles is a never-ending thing in Spain (I have three thick volumes with many of them and their history). They pop up like mushrooms in the middle of nowhere. Some are not really known and are kind of abandoned (not the first time I have been all alone in one). One great I pick at random of this kind: Castillo de Zafra (dirt road to get there; Game of Thrones filmed there a couple of scenes, I think). By the way, some castles, palaces and monasteries are kept as hotels to preserve them e.g. the Paradores chain of hotels, which is owned by the state, is the most famous e.g. some examples: Parador de Sigüenza (castle, reconstructed in the 12th century on top of older ones: Roman, Muslim..), Parador de Santo Estevo in Orense (monastery, with origins in the 6th-7th century although more "modern" refurbishments were made). Oh, and Parador of Úbeda (Palace, 16th century). I tell you, sleeping in their old rooms, taking even a coffee in their courtyards or in their halls, is an experience by itself (food too, always good). Google these examples, they are worthy, and so much more I would need pages... and myself I keep exploring all the secrets tucked away in Spain (I keep adding more to my to-do list and cannot keep the pace!). PS. I have not seen other videos with music and I think I watched all of those Spain-related.
If you like motorcycles and you are a European who likes to travel on them, don't just stay doing the Pyrenees, travel through Aragon, the Basque country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia. You're going to freak out very hard.
Of course you have a European culture. You literally speak an European language therefore you are at least europeanised. You've an Anglo culture, a western cosmo vision like literally everybody in the Americas 😂 You may have certain elements proper to Americans but basically quite European by heritage. Sorry for the realism
Spain is astonishing!. U may check out the Spanish Cathedrals and Palaces😍🇪🇦❤️
I have a spanish cathedral video publishing today!
@@Average_Middle_Aged_American Nice, I'll watch it!👍🏻
It,s called Castille for the castles

Its normal when you think about europe you think about england, france, italy. I hope we can do better in Spain to make it change a bit.

This it's Motilla del Azuer. It's wrote in Spanish, but I can translate it if you need it.
YT deleted the links, what a pity. Try to find something of this.

It's a shame that your reaction to the video on cathedrals in Spain was taken down. I would have watched that.
I think it will be published tomorrow. I did some editing and added some background music. Not perfect but should pass.
Nevermind, just got copyrighted again.
New Cathedrals in Spain video has been published.

Why there is only music for most of the video?
