I love blackberries! When I lived in New York there were budhes were loaded with them and it was so much fun because it was on the way to and from school so I will go to school with red hands and come back home with red hands and face and clothes! Haha

Yes..I always have the red/purple hands too😀. The sweet ones are delicious and I usually eat some while I'm picking. The thorns will get you though. Have a great week guys!

My wild blackberries are huge and sweet i think they are all from where someone planted berries years and years ago the way they are growing from the top of a slight incline along with lots of muscadines

can I take a wild blackberry fruit and plant it in a pot, and it would grow or do I need to do a cutting of the plant ?

I know you can get a start going from the stem piece. I've never tried to grow from the seed.
