How do these coaches get away with this? Do you think the ref would let a first year coach get away with saying the same thing? No way! How can anyone respect the refs when they clearly cow tow and show favoritism?
The curse comes for all Lions. My mom was in diapers the last time the Lions won a championship. She'll be dead of old age before they win another one, and that'll be true if she lives to a hundred.
Caleb Williams never throwing INTs might actually be the upside to a bigger problem: He's being overcoached to not take a risk; to avoid taking a chance. Sure, he doesn't throw picks, but he also gets tons of sacks and seems less sure of himself as the year goes on. He's regressing.
The issue is he was playing so well and got the Bears going with some momentum for a 4-2 start. Even in the losing streak after that, he kept playing well and doing what he could to keep the team alive. But then they kept losing. The more they lose, they less confident he gets. He's realizing his team isn't playing to win no matter how well he specifically plays so it looks like he's given up. It's really a tragedy. He's definitely a great QB and I think he'll be the Bears guy going forward, but the collapse of the season for Chicago is really saf.
@IntroducingMrLucci that's not exactly true either. I'm definitely no fan of Williams but that bears team is known for killing QB's careers. He is gonna turn out like Fields. Seeing ghosts

The gods were just not in our favor that night and we still almost came back to win. 13 doesn't get those fingertips on that ball and Dan looks brilliant today.
bills did have injuries on D against the lions , hamlin and rapp were both out before the game started. but also the two offense they went against were really explosive and lions were the highest scoring offense in the league
Yeah, they went into the game down both safeties and a CB, then lost another safety and two linebackers during the game. Nowhere as banged up as the Lions, but far from "no injuries"
Buffalo's defense has no injuries? 60% of the starting defensive backfield was inactive this week. Milano has played 1.5 games this year before leaving with another injury and was replaced with the 3rd string LB because 2nd string was injured early in the lions game and 2 DLs just returned from IR. 11:45
Agreed. The Bills defense doesn't have the injuries that the Lions' does but it's far from healthy. A game between Detroit and Buffalo with their defenses being more healthy would have been more fun. It's was almost too easy for the teams to score on each other this past Sunday.
I was going to say the same thing. Not a huge deal because you can't expect Perna to know everything about every team, but the Bills going into the game with both their starting safeties and their starting Corner inactive, plus losing more starters during the game, was a huge storyline.
Don’t know why you said the Bills defense didn’t have injuries as an excuse when against the lions we were missing Taylor Rapp, Rasul Douglas, Damar Hamlin. Then Matt Milano and Cole Bishop exited the game.
If I may point out something, the Bills were missing both their starting safeties and their CB 1 in the Lions game against one of the best offenses in the NFL. Definitely no excuse in the Rams game. D-line was invisible, secondary kept losing track of Cupp and Puka, and McD refused to make any defensive adjustments whatsoever.
JJettas was too worried about where he was gonna go after catching it vs securing the catch @ 25:19..we’ve all done that at receiver when we knew it was mainly green to the end zone 20 yards away so we get ahead of ourselves out of excitement and put the steps to execute in wrong order hahaha
