Hi Jason, I’ve been riding the bike for a few weeks now and absolutely love it! I wanted to ask for your advice on proper maintenance after a muddy trail ride. Specifically, is it safe to spray down the bike with a hose, or should I be concerned about potential damage to the electronics? Additionally, should I lubricate certain parts after washing? I appreciate your guidance on this.
Yeah, I hose it down good, then I dry with a micro fiber cloth so it sort of buff's it as I dry it. Then I lube the chain with the WD40, which I have used for decades after trying countless other lubes....
How would those polygons do for someone starting out with a strong bmx background? I’m plenty comfortable and would want to ride large jumps and drops, but I’ve always seen mtb as too cost prohibitive to really get into. I’ve just thought for what I would want to ride I won’t find anything less than $3k that can survive. These polygons look like they can challenge that thinking
Yeah, these new bikes can handle a lot of abuse for sure, but I would not be going off huge drops with the T6E myself. Something like the N8E geni.us/ewY12 for an E-Bike would be a bit more capable for huge bike park hits, but you can certainly jump the T6E really good as it is. In addition if you don't want an E-Bike you can look at the new T9: geni.us/4J7Rr
Hey there and currently the Polygon D7 SE is on sale and the cheapest option worth considering in my opinion.. bikesonline-usa.sjv.io/5g0573 However, the cheapest full suspension option from Polygon would be the D5: bikesonline-usa.sjv.io/750b1O
My Full Highly Detailed Polygon T6E REVIEW is NOW UP on my other TH-cam channel here: th-cam.com/video/fcDfaALWXYk/w-d-xo.html
This is going to be a good resource for new riders. Appreciate the thorough explanation!
I really hope so and thank you for the kind words!
