The easiest way to remove/replace with this style clamp. Loosen up more than you think. Pull seat up, slide lower clamp out the side. Install new seat on to upper clamp. Pull seat up to engage upper clamp, slide lower clamp back in position.
Have you tried it in sub zero temps? I think I need a saddle with more padding for the winter. Maybe this would be a good idea for winter use? Even in 0 C my new Ergon SM Enduro Pro saddle is uncomfortable, I suspected it might be the case, despite what Facebook comments said, that it would be comfortable in sub zero temps, even in -10C, it wasn’t, but same issue with the Fabric Scroop Shallow Race I previously used, but I wore it out, it eventually hurt even in the summer, so I had to replace it.
WTB Pure is definitely my favorite. I own a few of them over the years. I use them on my MTB. I use Selle Italia SLI for my road and cyclecross bikes, as Pure is too padded for those applications.
8:20 No chamois shorts will give you much cushioning, it’s not its job, it's meant to reduce chafing and keep the chamois cream there.
I've ridden the pure v for years and it is awesome , definitely a step up in comfort over most stock saddles
Thanks for sharing Jimbo and I am loving mine so far!
@@jasonsmountainbikereviews good review too
Thank you :)

4:17 isn’t isn’t a trick just do that in reverse when putting it on. But loosening it some more.
What I'd like, is for someone who has a set of balls, to design a seat for those of us whom don't possess squirrel nuts.
hahaha

Thanks for sharing and makes total sense about the road bike application as well.
