I just purchased the Cremo styling beard balm and the Cremo revitalizing beard oil (forest blend). I also give those two products thumbs up. They smell and feel good. The Cremo forest blend beard oil smells like I just chopped down a tree in the wilderness, while fending off grizzly bears and mountain lions.

Glad you liked the oil. I was just given some as a gift and I loved it, so I came to TH-cam to see what others thought. I have the forest scent, it's a very light fragrance and fades quickly so it pairs well with whichever type of balm or mustache wax you like.

I agree with this review 100% I've been using Cremo beard oil and beard balm for about a year and a half. I have the other products mentioned but I don't use them. I just discovered this channel while surfing for pipe smoking videos and I have been watching it all night. Great videos! Liked and subscribed. There are so many of us 20th-century men out there with similar life experiences.

I have recently been using the same cremo products, except for the scruff cream.the beard conditioner I have found is helping my beard quite a bit.its helping to get my half curly(wavy)beard to straighten out.plus if u skip the 30 second suggested time, and keep it in for like 5 minutes.you can feel that it is helping to hydrate my beard.i love the conditioner,I love the oil,but the balm I'm not in love with.the balm feels very oily.its alright but not my favorite.but I do love the conditioner and beard oil.so I would suggest guys try the conditioner themselves for at least a week, and see how it makes there beard and skin feel.think u will like it given time to work.thanks for the review sultan!!!!

I've been using Cremo products for the past couple of months now and I love them. I'm not as much of a stickler on the ingredients as some are, so they really don't bother me. It seems that at some point, everything will end up giving you cancer anyways, so why waste all that time shopping for the beard products that were produced by Holistic ministers using the tears of East African Elephants roaming the Serengeti mixed with hand squeezed Calamondin and Mabolo.
With that being said, I do appreciate the insightful reviews you post on different products. While I may not be completely on board with the "all natural" product craze, you're channel is definitely a go-to for tips and tricks for taming my face sweater.

Love your videos. My goatee is wirey and I want smooth and supple. Suggestions? Also, for the chemistry lesson of the day.... if something ends in "ol" like phenol , methanol, glycol, it has an alcohol base. Frankly I don't want an alcohol product on my face or beard but that's just me. Thanks again.

      - I have a scruffy beard. I started using this cremo beard softener, before seeing any reviews on it. After using it 3 times a week for 2 weeks, my scruffy beard was notably softer and flyaway hairs were more manageable with beard balm. If you haven't found something yet, I'd say give the cremo beard and scruff softener. I also alternate between beard oil and balm which seems to have made the beard hair stronger and softer with regular use.

You communicate so well with the camera/audience. Use that to your advantage. At the end of every vlog ask the viewer to subscribe and ask them to click the "like" icon. Takes two seconds to ask but many times it's the difference between a subscriber or a casual viewer. People need to feel invited to join you.

George Williams that's interesting that you say that because personally when youtubers don't ask for the viewers to subscribe it actually makes me want to push the subscribe button. when people say (rate subscribe) it gives off the vibe that the youtuber is interested in TH-cam cash earned from subscribers which makes me question the youtubers opinions/intentions in the videos.

I kinda get a strong Citrus scent and I use just a pinky nails worth .Im used to Mountaineer Brand beard oils WV Coal and WV Timber thats where I started ,all Natural Oils .Have you tried the Mountaineer Brand ? I'm still on the fence with Cremo's beard oil and balm. My beard is similar in length and color as yours. I've been using Honest Amish wax for some time. Cremo's balm is not as firm and has much more oil. The fragrance is nice, the holding power is so-so. I haven't really given the oil a fair shake but I don't think I'd use them together.

I, too, am a fan of Cremo's beard oils and balm. Great quality and scents (or unscented oil, which is really nice when you want to play around with your own essential oil combinations). Really decent at the $10 price point. But honestly, the beard softeners (in-shower and after-shower) don't really do anything for me. What does everyone else think about these non-oil/balm products?

Looked up neopentyl glycol diheptanoate."Mixture of film-forming and solvent ingredient neopentyl glycol and grape-derived fatty acid heptanoic acid. The compound functions as a non-aqueous skin-conditioning agent and thickener." That "film-forming" part is enough to make me avoid it. Can't stand to feel like something is on my face. That said, Cremo beard oil is the first I've used (today is actually the first day I've used it). I like it so far, but I do have one question. My beard is fairly short, maybe 1/2in, and I used 9 drops and haven't noticed any oiliness to my face or hair. This is a good bit more than what I've heard others recommend. Does the first application of oil usually take more due to dry skin?

I’ve been intentionally avoiding Cremo because anything that starts becoming a standard for all the big super stores (like Wal Mart) and drug stores can’t be 100% natural. And as it turns out my hunch was spot on.
I get most of my beard products off Amazon, and I do research on each product before I buy them. I’m also watching WHEN a company was established, and who owns the company. Now that so many men are wearing beards, all the big corporations are going to get in on it - and they don’t care about being natural or selling a healthy product - they’re only concerned with the bottom line.
These corporate companies are jumping on the beard bandwagon in the same way they jumped on the natural foods bandwagon. Words like “green” and “organic” have become buzz words to sell products. And you have to watch out when a company says “all natural”. Things like arsenic and fluoride are natural, but I don’t want to eat them. Fire is natural, but I don’t want to put it on my body. Natural doesn’t automatically means good.
Also, I agree that it FEELS like you’re wearing something with Cremo scuff cream. Yeah I’m a bad man - I took a little scuff cream out at the store and applied it. And it made my face feel like it was loaded up. I don’t get that feeling with any of the other beard products I use.

IamNemoN01 - Honest Amish is popular in all Wal-Mart’s and is known for being 100% natural products. Why can’t a product be natural if it’s sold at Wal-Mart lol

tried the forest blend scruff cream, let's just say it went right in the trash. smelled like Vicks married noxema and had a stinky child. my wife took a smell and made her nose burn and eyes watered. hard to believe a group of people decided on such a horrible smell. very medicinal.

Wow, I knew this was going to be entertaining when he started off by pronouncing the name incorrectly.. the beard softener was a conditioner and only to be used once a week. You also didn't rinse it properly. Now, scruff creme is not used before oil. That's counter productive. Never use beard oil post cream.. As for the beard oil it was used incorrectly.. Not impressed with video

Too many chemicals as first ingredients and later.

I don't believe you understand what it takes for a label to be approved. You should have googled the ingredients you didn't understand, instead of thinking they're evil chemicals that will destroy your beard in a fire. Haha

Your distinction between "chemicals" and "natural ingredients" is a fallacious one. Anything that softens your beard - whether it be avocado or something preduced in a laboratory - is composed of chemicals.

Rich Bailey Uh, not really. You shouldn't drink water. It's a chemical. Think about what you're saying. It's utter nonsense.

John David Wrong, a chemical is a compound or substance that has been purified or prepared, especially artificially. Natural ingredients are not chemicals because they occur in nature.
Your inaccurate example is comparable to stating that water is a poison becsuse LD-50 can be measured for any ingestable substance, even water. That doesn't make everything we eat classified as a toxin, even though ingesting enough of it woukd kill a person, even water.

Artificiality has nothing to do with what makes something a chemical or not. So does that mean that water formed as a result of a combustion reaction of a hydrocarbon is a "chemical" while groundwater is not a chemical? Again, a distinction without a difference. The lines you're drawing are completely arbitrary and meaningless.
