Pendulums: Yu-Gi-Oh's Biggest Mistake

In the summer of 2014 Yugioh introduced Pendulum monsters into the game. These half monster/half spell cards featured strange symbols, unintuitive mechanics, and complicated rulings. Today we’re going to figure out what made such a large amount of the community dislike Pendulums, and also how Yugioh addressed these complaints throughout the years.
