When you turned that box upside down to make sure it was empty, I literally saw a joyous child. Beautiful art and good job on such authenticity! You're fun to watch :)
I always love to watch you create. This is whimsical but so beautiful. Pop the wire through the paper and ad a little star charm or paper charm so that it dangles out from the paper 3D as a hanging star...? I absolutely love what you created! I feel such joy when I get to see another creation of yours. Thank you for sharing!
You can totally get alot of audiences! !!! And Connect to the young girls!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖 I'm 24, and I'm surprised I'm drawn to your art work, I normally do more boyish stuff. But this is quite lovely!!! Keep sharing your gift for art!!!!!!💖💖💖💖💖😀😀😀😀😀LOVE IT!!!
This is just beautiful. I love how you see and translate and create. It's all so wonderful and magical and even haunting in ways. If you created a line of stamps, I'd buy them. If you created an animated movie, I'd go see it. And buy it on DVD when it came out in that format. Your art is.....I don't know a word. It's amazing and I'm glad I found you!
I have been a long time subscriber, I believe since the very beginning & I've never left a comment but I think it's time that I do. You are such an inspiration & you are beautiful inside & out. Your art is absolutely gorgeous & I love everything you create. Your mixed media girls are amazing and I love watching your process. Thank you Tamara for sharing your art and your life. You truly are an amazing person. I hope you have a wonderful day and I look forward to the next video.
Cindybin, this is clearly something that bothers you greatly. And I do believe that it's not about anybody not understanding your point of view or not - some share it, some don't. Obviously the people who have tattoos do not share your attitude to and possibly experience with tattoos. So attacking them is not helpful and rarely leads to a meaningful discourse. As you say yourself, the "ranting about it online for years" hasn't really gotten you anywhere. Trolling the comments section of people who are striving for authenticity and are inspiring AND successful while they do it, tattoo and all, is not casting the best light on yourself and may be limiting your very own opportunities. And no, the tattoo doesn't bother me. I, for one, know what it means to Tamara and what makes it special. I also believe that she is free to decorate her life and her body any way she chooses to. As are you! :)
HI Cindy, I truly think it's great that you care so much about other people and that you worry about them, but I really don't care about your opinion or anyone else's opinion if they judge me for having a tattoo, so your plight is useless. A waste of your energy. And pretty much everyone you want to share this message with will not be interested in what you have to say. by all means, have the opinion, but it doesn't reach us. sorry about that. x
Has it occurred to you that part of her beauty IS her tattoo? You speak of attracting the wrong type of people, creating a bad impression, and limiting your job opportunities. Well perhaps someone as wonderfully artistic and creative as Tamara isn't looking for a job that would see a tattoo as a bad thing. Artists live outside of the box , they create beauty. Very often their own bodies can be their canvasses. As far as attracting the wrong type of people ... People are people! Bad people come in all shapes sizes, ethnicities etc.. as do lovely people. Some of the most beautiful, sensitive, gentle people I have ever met have tattoos. It is never right to make an assumption about someone based merely on their appearance. You say you want to help people to understand that tattoos cause others to judge them (not giving a job) (giving a bad impression) ... The types of jobs tattooed people generally look for are the types of jobs that see tattoos as a plus! Creativity! Self expression! Boldness!! Did you really think that Tamara would reply "oh my! You are so right! I'll get it removed ! Seriously? Seems to me that the comment could only be seen as hurtful, judgmental, and insensitive. It's sad that you have been ranting at people online for years about this. I doubt your ranting has done anything more than hurt feelings and tick people off. Maybe you should take a look inward to see where your feelings are rooted , I don't believe for a second that you really want to help people. I think you believe that your view of people is the only correct view. Anyone who would have a bad impression of someone just because they have a tattoo is narrow minded and petty.
I don't quite get your point yet, or more the reason for it: Why exactly do you think people should not get tattoos? Because other people might judge them for having a tattoo and maybe reacting negatively, for example not giving them a job? Someone might wonder why you even bother - why do you care about people deciding to take the risk of getting negative feedback for their appearance, creative expression, tattoos...? You say it is because you want to help them, protect them from this negativity - you also mentioned being a parent (if I got that right), so you might feel protective in the way a mother does. And this is great! Vey few people care that much about strangers! But if you really only want to help others, why do you do it in such an agressive way that also causes negative feedback, probably even more than having a tattoo these days? Why do you rant about it instead of giving friendly advice? Because you got rejected too often? Wouldn't it make more sense to be nice to the people you want to help? It might be a hard mission, I can imagine that it's not easy seeing the people you try to help not listen to you or reject your opinion. But I also don't think getting angry about it helps... I am not here to teach you anything but would only like to understand you better so please answer calmly and to all of what I said instead of raging about one sentence you are not happy with. This way we can talk about it way more easily. Kind regards, Gigi :)
I think this has to be my favourite FOF so far and I've watched them all. I ADORE your girl Tam, she's so very beautiful. I'm also enjoying the colour palette used here. It inspires me to try out some darker colours in my own art. Thanks for sharing, sweetheart. Love and hugs, Fiona (Phiona)
I loved watching your process. From the initial first sketch of her eyes, she was wise and magical; and I she seemed to muse tenderly on the universal play of the darkness and the stars.
It is beautiful like all your work. You have helped me so much over the past years. I created a portrait book and used it to express feelings and allow feelings to flow while I drew. Thank you for your positive impact on the universe. You rock!
I enjoy watching you create, it is very relaxing. The girls you paint have such serine faces, and are very beautifully done. Also you are such an inspiration for myself and so many others who have painful hands. Painting is a way for me to forget my chronic pain and focus on something that I love. I'm not sure if it was ever your intention to inspire artists suffering from chronic pain, but know that you do and I thank you for it. Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful art. God bless your talented hands and beautiful soul. An admirer for life, Michelle Scherrer (Longwood, Florida )
Gorgeous piece. I always love watching you create. It was interesting to hear your planning thought process and your interpretation of the stencil as a window while others have used it as a door. Also your determination to incorporate that pesky rusty wire somewhere LOL :)
Love this! She is so adorable with her cute puppy. You are so talented! It was a joy watching you plan and create this piece. I thought if you cut some of the rusty wire into 6 three-inch (or so) pieces you could form your X's using 2 each of the pieces and tape the edges to the back of the piece.
Only just stumbled across this video today, love your characters! When I seen the stencil, I thought it looked like you were looking from the outside in, purely because of the windowsill. Half way through watching this and already loving your work! (Have now clicked subscribe!)
LOVE your art ! You are so amazing ! I appreciate ALL of the information and tips. Before there was TH-cam, I had to struggle to find the information and techniques I wanted to learn. So thank you for sharing your work with all of us. You are an inspiration.
Oh my gosh you are INCREDIBLY TALENTED!!!! I am so glad I found your channel!!! This is my second attempt at a cute face. I've had years of art but I never was good at realistic-ish art. I can't wait to binge watch your channel! Forget Netflix! I'm binging here. Hehe!
love everything you do, amazing.. the color the art chica your so talented and your such a beautiful soul thanks for sharing your art and I love your workshops I have learned so much from you.
She is absolutely beautiful!!! 💗💗💗💗 I can't wait for Life Book 2017. It is going to be an awesome yearlong spiritual and emotional healing journey for me, and I am sure for alot of other people too. Tamara you are so AMAZING!!!! 😘😘😘😘
I loved watching your work! This was my first time on your channel! You definitely are an inspiration! I love ART in many mediums! These particular forms, with the whimsical feel are simply enchanting! Such gifts you artists are displaying on these TH-cam channels! I'd love to learn to draw the faces!
I understand you had a vision for the wire to behave differently but I liked the unruly X's. If you decide to use it again, maybe embrace that it does its own thing? Everything you make seems awesome to me. Watching you create for so many years, your family start and grow, and you be the ever blossoming beauty has been a true honor. Whatever choices you make they're yours. Enjoy your process. Cheers.
A beautiful work. I love how you did her hair! The only thing I came up for the rusty wire was to make small coils (button size) that you could have glued to her dress.
This is beautiful!! I love how you started with the art supplies you were given to decide on your composition. I would have used the metal wire in her hair to give it dimension & painted her hair brown to tie it in, but she looks SO cool with blue hair & star trails instead!! X
This is the first time I've been to your channel, I must say that I really enjoyed watching. Great style! That wire was a stump, I was thinking it could be wound in a circle and glued over the moon then painted or sprayed over. I surely will be back to see more of your art.
Cindy, it seems so. There are actual people in the world who don't mind, even enjoy tattoos. It's just how it is. Some like them, some don't. Peace be with you.
I love Tam's tattoo. It's just another way she has of expressing herself. I myself have 2 tattoos and am thinking of getting a third. I'm sure you'll find you won't even notice it after watching Tam paint and create a few more times. Blessings, Fiona xox

Hi I'm new to your Chanel!!! I am absolutely in love with your work. I just started doing mixed media art as therapy for my postpartum depression. I can't draw a face to save my life but you have truly inspired me to keep trying. I hope one day I'm 1/2 as good as you. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.
Hi, beautiful artwork. I notice you said you like drawing hanging hearts, perhaps you could hang some stars from the wire or connect the stars like constellations? Just thinking it would hang things exactly where you want them without moving around too much :)
Very cool! I am a newbie, and videos like this make me more anxious to get started on Lifebook 2017----even though I am fearful that I won't be able to create anything like this beautiful painting! I will try!
Hi Kathy. I'm really glad you are doing Life Book 2017. You'll enjoy it so much, I'm sure. I've done LB now for 2 years in a row (since I started art journalling) and can't imagine a year without it!
So lovely sweetheart!! Do you mind sharing what type of journals you use, and what kind of paper is in them? The paper seems to take so many layers of different mediums which is awesome. Than you!
The wire could have been shaped into hearts, stars, perhaps a swirl as part of your hanger to continue the theme of your painting or perhaps shaped and painted over to create an embossed image.
Oh Tam, that came out so beautifully and a great use of that wonderful stencil too! Love the little bitty wings you love doing. Id love to do a painting myself using that idea of yours if i have your permission? I would of course give mention about it as being your own idea. Wonderful art as always Tam, stunning in fact. Hugs Tibby xxx
Remarkable work! A idea to complement your wire hanger....maybe a shape of a star twisted at the top with the wire then hanging down affixed as you did. Please don’t think I’m being disrespectful of your amazing talent❤️
This painting is awesome! Well done you for finding a way to use the rusty wire!! You could have used it to hang a star on so it came through the painting - srt of 3D (do you see what I mean?) x
I love this artwork, you are a very inspiring artist..... ps l also like the canvas prints in the background at the start of the video do you sell them ? Regards Susanna 😊
When you turned that box upside down to make sure it was empty, I literally saw a joyous child. Beautiful art and good job on such authenticity! You're fun to watch :)
She’s looking into the window of her soul 💜 I love watching you work.

Wow! Love your art!
You do such lovely work this picture is just so beautiful thank you for sharing
Awesome as always!👌🏼🎨
A beautiful work. I love how you did her hair! The only thing I came up for the rusty wire was to make small coils (button size) that you could have glued to her dress.
this is soooo cute. I am loving it.
Thank you so much for sharing!! I love your process!
Wow, loved watching the process - so fun!
I LOVE THIS!! You are amazing!!
Wow wow, wow, I'm a fan, 🤗, absolutely brilliant!!!!
Really pretty. Love it. Feeling inspired to draw or paint today now from watching your video :)
So great! Love it!
Amazing piece! I just found your channel and I'm so excited!
Blessings, Fiona xox
cindybin2001 What a pitiful response - I actually feel bad for you. I have only just seen the rest of your rants on here. Had I seen them earlier I would not have even bothered to reply. As for my future kids... you're way off the mark with that one as I am a 55 year-old woman and my "kid" at 29, is long grown and perfectly fine tyvm. Oh and I teach English which disproves your theory about people with tattoos having problems finding decent jobs. I shall now do as the famous meme says and "STOP FEEDING THE TROLL". I bid you goodnight!
I'm not exactly sure how this nonsense got added to my post but can you two please move it elsewhere!
cindybin2001, you should really find a different forum for this. I really feel like you are out of line to be posting all of this on a TH-cam video feed! It's very rude a disrespectful to the artist!
You are absolutely amazing! Thank you for sharing
Use the wire and form it into a star and then attach it to the front of the painting and let the star points go over the edge and you can use it to hang a star
How about a wooden heart charm n use the string to attach said charm to the branch in the arch/window, but nice painting. Which were the short caran dache pigments u used on the face, didnt look like neocolourII. Do those shorter Caran Dache ones stay fixed once dry? Neocolr IIs are great but I struggle with the face they reactive if u get other wet media back on an area they were used on. I liked a tut u did years ago with Neocolor II when u used gesso to blend them so they went chalky vintage softer look.
Hi Jackeline, thanks so much for your lovely comment! I hope your depression will ease with the help of creativity!! Sending much love and healing.
Thank you! 😊
Hi, beautiful artwork. I notice you said you like drawing hanging hearts, perhaps you could hang some stars from the wire or connect the stars like constellations? Just thinking it would hang things exactly where you want them without moving around too much :)
Beautiful work
Very cool! I am a newbie, and videos like this make me more anxious to get started on Lifebook 2017----even though I am fearful that I won't be able to create anything like this beautiful painting! I will try!
Hey Kathy, don't worry! We start out slowly and show you in real life (not time lapsed) how to build up a painting. :) big hugs you'll be fine! X
Than you!
thank you. go for watercolour paper that is at least 140lbs. :) i like hotpressed.
willowing thanks so much!
Beautiful..rusty wire hmm I think I would have struggled too 😀
You are a great artist
The wire could have been shaped into hearts, stars, perhaps a swirl as part of your hanger to continue the theme of your painting or perhaps shaped and painted over to create an embossed image.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your artwork, Tam!!!!!!!!!! Hugz, Tree.
Amazing artwork
Remarkable work! A idea to complement your wire hanger....maybe a shape of a star twisted at the top with the wire then hanging down affixed as you did. Please don’t think I’m being disrespectful of your amazing talent❤️
Gorgeous!
Such beautiful and magical artwork! can I ask, what is the black pen that you use for outlining?
I love this stencil
Just LOVE your art Tamara!! Lovely painting!! :) Thanks for sharing!
Anyone know what kind of paper she’s using? I would’ve been SO scared to poke those holes in that beautiful painting! She’s brave.
You are SO talented!!! I love your work!! :) I wish I could draw whimsical girls like you! The extent of my drawing is stick people. Lol
This painting is awesome! Well done you for finding a way to use the rusty wire!! You could have used it to hang a star on so it came through the painting - srt of 3D (do you see what I mean?) x
*Love* this!!
the piece came out beautifully! I have some wire someone sent to me in a mystery box, I never figured out what to do with it.
Cool painting. I like the music! Who is it?
