He used to own it, but sold it years ago. I wish he still had it because I think some “multi-investment” sort of company owns it now. I’m Detroit-area, that’s just my memory from when he sold it.

I got to assist on a photo shoot there about 12 years ago. I had already fell in love with historic Detroit buildings my first time driving by Michigan Central Station when I went to games at the old Tiger’s stadium when I was a kid, but getting to be inside places like Bishop’s, and the hitlist of The Fisher, Masonic Temple, The Fox Theater, getting to stay in the Book Cadillac for years during the Detroit Auto Show. Detroit has so many gems. I love the city and have been loved back by having a career/adult life spent largely in Detroit.

I feel John Salley on that last part. I've lived and been in various homes and as a single man, I don't care how rich I am, I don't see any need to have anything beyond 3000 sq feet. All I need is a big living room, nice kitchen and nice bed room. All those extra rooms and dining rooms are a waste of space.

Honestly the way vlad interviews in this fashion to me is more organic and a different innovative style of interviewing. Sure some interviews are interrogative because the people that he’s interviewing in that atmosphere is self explanatory with those guests. But the regulars is just chit chat not even an interview really. The information comes out smoother.

Yeah but it was kinda a scam. You could buy foreclosured houses for that cheap but what they didn't tell people was you still had to pay the taxes of what the actual worth of the house was. Most people would but for low but couldn't afford the taxes and would lose they house. The lowest I heard someone buying was for a $1 haha.

I live in Windsor Ontario Canada across Detroit Michigan. Back in the 90s I would see Rip Hamilton, John n few others NBA players in my small city. I saw rip with a Ferrari at 7eleven store. He said hi, I always was a fan of Detroit.

It was largest house in Detroit not in all Michigan. Meadowbrook hall, the former dodge estate was the largest home in Michigan at 88k it now is Oakland University I think.
