    Probably the most thorough real-world install video I've come across. Nice work. I'm pretty sure the radius arms have torsion elastic bushings in there that need to be loosened and then torqued down once at new ride height so it doesn't damage them. If you don't, it just causes them to be under constant rotational torsion even at rest. It will cause premature failure that you will certainly hear / feel. Easy fix, you can loosen them with the truck on the ground and then re-torque them. That's how upper / lower control arms are for most SUV's / trucks with IFS.

    For anyone installing a leveling kit, if you don’t install the track bar bracket with it you’ll end up with your axle shifted to the driverside and your wheel will stick out further than the passenger side. I see a bunch of people doing that at home and that’s the end result.

    Appreciate the leveling kit video. One of the best out there. I just finished my install. Make sure you have the truck high enough to drop the axle enough to get the spacer installed. I needed to compress the springs. Lastly, I did not have any play to extend the brake lines with the supplied brackets.

    Getting ready to install this same kit on my 2016 myself. Looks like the most important step here is getting it high enough on jacks for the axle to be able to drop down. Really appreciate this straight to the point video, thanks!

    • @villa7166
      @villa7166 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just did this on my 2015 F-350 srw last night. You will definitely need to jack it up really high to drop down the axle enough. I didn’t think those springs were that compressed 😂

    • @Diesel67
      @Diesel67 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Update: I got it installed. If anyone is thinking about doing this, make sure you jack it up HIGH on stands so you can slide in the spring with the new spacer. If you have a 2016 or older you won’t need the brake line bracket extension, but you will need to flip the line 180 degrees and use the provided bracket that comes with the kit (chrome ones). You’ll need to loosen the nut on the line just a bit for it to flip. Other than that just follow the video.

    • @villa7166
      @villa7166 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Diesel67 i did not use the brake line bracket extension either. The chrome brackets look identical to the ones that are on my truck at the moment so I couldn’t figure out what they were for. How’s your truck ride? Mine rode pretty much the same as it did before. Took it in for alignment though and my caster was 1 out of spec. (0.0) on each side. Truck drives fine still but i ordered 2 degree caster shims to get my caster back into spec.

    • @Diesel67
      @Diesel67 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you look at the hole on the new chrome brackets, the flat side on it changes. That’s so the metal head on the brake line can fit after you flip it. My truck rides fine but drifts to one side even after alignment. I think I need a cam alignment kit.

Now I have a '23 I'll be taking possession of on Wednesday & based on that I'm all but certain I can get 37x13.50R17 on the dark tint version of the Black Rhino's same offset, but hearing so many other posts, Google searches, etc I'm almost questioning that, yet have had two places through whom one can order wheel & tire packages guarantee that fitment as well, though that was me saying the snow plow prep package was the equivalent to a 2" leveling kit. The '17 died in a black ice incident late December, so I don't have it to confirm what I'm 99.9% certain off.
