художник намеренно выбирает сложные темы, получая удовольствие от их решения, при этом раскрывает "секреты" мастерства. Превосходно!

Love the painting and tutorial. Very painterly. I would have used a few more overt grays to the blues to emphasize the silver aspect of the shaker on the edges and in some reflections but that's just me and what I saw.
When you added the dark ends of the lime after the highlights the lime became REAL. Amazing. I don't get to paint much so I forget the painting process and this was very helpful. Thank you.

It's always different to observe from life. I gotta go with what I see/feel at the time.

When I think of martinis I think of large olives and /or lemons…not limes. However, the painting is beautiful and I learned fine pointers. I’d love to see you paint this martini shaker on a metal surface with a lemon. Thank for your excellent instructive comments.

I suppose calling it a martini shaker was not right. It’s just a shaker. And there are plenty of shaken cocktails involving lime. Anyway, I liked the combo visually.
