    I’ve been under the care of a physician near you. I traveled 600 miles one way to see her NP in person for years and now I see them virtually. My NP left and the care hasn’t been the same, but I’m doing great. It took a few years to get everything lined out. However, the many virtual visits, repeated labs and DUTCH tests, and compounds are so expensive, and I want to retire. My choices are continue working or give up HRT. I just completed my request for a consult with Midi. Thank you so much.

    Dry eye is caused by clogged myobium glands that happen due to a lack of estrogen. Make sure you take your eye makeup completely off every night and do some research on how to control it. There are myobium gland expressors that can get the myobium glands function better.

    My Dr first put me on Lo Loestrin when I requested help with menopause symptoms, because my last period was 5 mos ago, but before that stopped half year, then cycle for 6 mos again. So been on that. But I was sure this was it (menopause) due to symptoms and how I felt, so after discussion with her, she Rx'd Climara Pro patch. How should I transition? (Just started a packet of pills 3 days ago.) Also, which has higher hormone doses (how do they compare) (the Lo Loestrin pill vs Climara Pro). TY

    So what exactly is the difference between HRT and Bioidentical Hormones? I still don’t understand 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also why is there such a taboo about getting help from hormone therapy for women going through “the change.” My mom and grandma and other women around me keep telling me to stay away from those “nasty chemicals” aka HRT. That menopause is a normal life process and that all women go through it and there’s no need for putting synthetic hormones in our bodies. That in the past women just dealt with it gracefully.

    what is wrong with pellets??? I use them & have for 8 yrs & they have changed my life!! I'm 65 btw

    • @jellen3045
      @jellen3045 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are not fda regulated - I just switched from pellets to patch and also my hair was falling out as my t was off the chart. The patch is guaranteed dose. The pellets are not- I guess the blood tests tell u what the dose you body is for but I will go next month to see how the patch and my estrodial level absorbs. My hair stopped falling out now that t is wearing off and that was my motivating factor as well as finding dr Mary c and Heather Hirsch. I understand now and my new doctor is a woman and has Galveston Diet book! Good luck! My goal is preventing the big 3 diseases so that was also my motivating reasons to switch from pellets so there is minimum doses for that.

      I have used BioTe pellets for testosterone and estrodial for over 4 years. Same, life-changing and finally able to lose now over 40 pounds. No crazy diet, I still eat carbs....Blood tests 6 weeks after insertion every time, and they are excellent. I go to an MD, by the way, who loves me dearly and would never steer me wrong. These pellets are made with FDA-registered outsourcing facilites with strict quality-control standards. I'm 58. Had bone scan done and they said I have bones of a 25 year old. (Dexascan) Have lifted weights and worked out long before it was cool ;)

    • @felrau1

      @@jbirdie30 can you share what probiotic you like?

    • @jbirdie30
      @jbirdie30 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@felrau1 of course! I know that Dr. Haver takes the Garden of Life RAW women's probiotic, which is a very good option. I buy a bottle of those occasionally, as well. I worked in the supplement industry for 20 years, my preferred probiotic, and the one I always recommend people try out if they want to see results like flatter tummy and better sleep, is ReNew Life 150 billion. The key to this product is the strain diversity, there are 40 different strains. The GOL RAW has good diversity also, and many novel strains, but I believe a serving is 3 pills to get the 85 billion serving. The Renew Life 150 billion is one pill per day. I take mine at night before bed. They do need to be refrigerated but they are not so unstable that if you accidentally left it on the counter overnight that it would be ruined, it wouldn't be. You just want to keep your probiotics away from light, heat, and sealed in a bottle, safe from moisture. This product can be rather pricey, but to me it's worth it to feel so much better when I take them. Used to be carried in a lot of stores, like Sprouts, but now the 150 bil is harder to find. A good health food store should have it if you have one, or they can order (if you have Sprouts in your area they should be able to order it also). I find them at Whole Foods, and when I see them on sale, buy a couple bottles. I believe they're currently on sale at WFM until April! Or buy them online from the manufacturer. Another thing I do to stretch out the budget is buy a second bottle of another probiotic, either same brand or different brand, that is a little less expensive and then I can alternate them, like take the 150 every other day or every third day and then the less expensive one in between. But if you are just starting probiotics try to do at least one full month on a good high diversity, high billion count product. I think you will see a difference. And, stick to the brands that are established and have been around don't be swayed by internet advertisements (there's one going around right now that everybody keeps asking me about.) Also, I always have told people if there's one supplement you take if there's one supplement that you will spend some money on, make it a good probiotic! I hope you get good results, I think you will and I think you'll be surprised at the difference it makes. As we age, it is normal and expected that our gut diversity becomes lessenned. And also the bad gut inhabitants can outnumber the good. And this affects so many things, this is the heart of our immune system! If you haven't had a very good diet or you've had a lot of stress, had surgery, taken antibiotics, etc. By the way this is true for pets, too, and probiotics are great for them, too! Best to you! 💕

    Why are you recommending non-FDA approved testosterone cream which as you know, is not regulated. Also, the stance from the Northern Menopausal Society be shows that testosterone has only been shown to help libido and only in an FDA approved cream for men used at 10% but not muscle mass.
