    I was told by my mother, my GP and many others that painful, heavy periods is "normal" and women just suck it up for 20 years...my gyno would only address my fybroids when I told her I wanted to have a child (I did not). Where I live most gynecologists only care about getting you pregnant and delivering your kid....Women need to demand health care system changes to address our regular health needs! WE ARE HALF THE HUMAN POPULATION AND DESERVE TO BE HEALTHY. Health care providers need to do better. I struggled with 'woman's health issues' until I was 40 and finally demanded proper care, changed doctors several times.

    In 2009 I started estriol cream and progesterone cream. A few years ago I started Julva. Here I am in 2023 at age 66 still using my vagina, feeling great, I'm 5'4", I weigh 122 lbs. I power walk, swim up to 200 laps, do dumbell and resistance bands 2 to 3 times a week, treadmill, eliptical, workout dancing, infrared sauna, and I'm getting ready to start using a small trampoline. All these things are different times and days in the week weather permitting. My husband is almost 7 years younger than me and looks older. Since July I'm on a grey hair grow out, I don't use nail polish either to keep removing toxins from my body. My hair is way past my waist, healthy, thick and beautiful. And btw I use DIM. I eat pretty much Mediterranean diet foods for years. I feel good, look good, I'm active and have great sex. I'm an individual and never let Dr's say I'm normal for my age... that is BS!

      Will estradiol help with hair loss? Seems like hair started shedding as I was losing estrogen so it makes sense to put the estrogen back, right?

    I’m paying $15 a month for 4 estradiol patches. 2 years ago I was talked into getting the pellet a friend told me how much she liked it. Blood work every 3 months!!! Cost a fortune!! Than the pellet!! 300.00. It’s caused me so much stress! The doctor I had gave me so much estrogen that over time I started bleeding not to mention, the testosterone crazy high! Went in for a D&C. Thank God I’m back to normal. It took some time to get there. I am in my sweet spot now🙂thank you for all you do! Love all your videos👍❤️❤️❤️

    I just recently discovered your channel after searching for help with menopause. I have watched many of your videos and wish I could have discovered you months ago. I am 47 years old and going through menopause. I haven't had a cycle since May of 2022. With the advise of my health care provider I received pellet therapy in April. The first two months were great. No more hot flashes, sleeping through the night and my libido was back. Prior to the pellets the hot flashes and not sleeping was taking control of my life. Not to mention my sex life was non existent. In July and August I started experiencing anxiety and by the time mid August hit I was having anxiety/panic attacks. The only thing different that I had done was the pellet therapy. With the advise again of my health care provider I went back in late August for more pellet therapy because they said that it could help with the anxiety and panic attacks. I feel like I have messed up my body. I have missed work, been placed on anxiety medication. I am at a loss at what to do. I would like to ween off these pellets and start something that is safer and more controllable. Has anyone had this experience with pellet therapy? If so, what did you do? Help! FYI - they said it was completely normal for my testosterone level to be 212!! Prior to pellets it was 16. I really think the spike and crash has contributed to what I am going through now. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

    The info videos constantly running in Biote office struck me as so sleezy, but I was desparate for help with this depression. I’m 39 yr old. The nurses seems to care about me but I am just $$$ walking in and out of there to the doctors(which I don’t get to see, I only see the PAs). First bloodwork showed Estradiol 34, Testosterone 25. I was put on testosterone cream. Then 3 wks later: estradiol 125, testosterone 495. Then 10 wks later: estradiol 375, testosterone 78. So they are swinging me all over the place and I STILL don’t feel much better! 😩

    Ok, I am 72, no period since I was 50..2001. I chose not to continue hormone therapy after 3 months. I have had weight issues since I was 36 (I think). Would I benefit from starting hrt now. Worked very hard since 2004 to loose weight. With weight watchers I have gone from 235 to 154. Small amount to bone loss. I work out from 3/5 days a week. Still have a small belly roll.

    Can you educate us on the combipatch? It is what I was prescribed. I am not sure if it is as safe as what you talk about. I read that the progesteron in it has negative side effects. I don't have tiktok, so I watch you on TH-cam.

    • @crh251
      @crh251 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hopefully she will answer you, but the Combi patch has progestin (synthetic) on it. My doctor put me on that too, but later I decided that I wanted real progesterone and not a synthetic progestin. Progestin is often confused with progesterone. They are two different things. Progestins can have side effects. Some women do have issues with the oral natural progesterone which is why they use it vaginally instead. Fortunately I have no problems with the oral progesterone.

      @crh251 Thank you. I so appreciate your answer. I did research the side effects of the combi patch, and I just felt uncomfortable using it. I do hope she answers as well, but you have given the comfort to ask my doctor for the micronized progesterone pill and the Estradiol patch. Thank you so much. 🤗

      Unfortunately, Dr. Haver cannot provide medical advice for your specific situation. Generally speaking, Dr. Haver prefers to use the estradiol patch with a micronized oral progesterone when appropriate for her patient.

    • @crh251
      @crh251 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I am not a doctor, but I read a lot. Vitamin D3 and K are helpful for strong bones. I take both those in a combination supplement form. The K puts the D3 in the bones where it belongs instead of the soft tissues. Also, magnesium and boron are both helpful. Vitamin D3 keeps bones strong on the outside, and estrogen keeps the bones strong on the inside according to Dr. Avril Bluming who wrote the book Estrogen Matters. Weight training helps too to keep bones strong.
