It would go well in an action-heavy horror-ish but not true horror game, as a background while youre fighting. In that aspect, MyHouse Doom mod uses it quite well, although it's not a background track, it just plays from a crashed car which you pass by. If you played Alan Wake, you probably know the scene at the farm, where you fight a few waves of taken on the stage, that type of action, maybe with a slightly different pace.
I remember playing Polybius to this song at a pizzeria in Taured called "Mario's Multiversal Pizza". The animatronic band on stage (consisting of Mario, Luigi, Tank Dempsey, Edward Richtofen, and Goku), was performing it.

So a lot of lyrics I've seen has really weird guesses that if you listen on high volume with some really good headphones don't make any sense and so I went and really listened for phonetics, not words, and this is what I made with as little guessing as possible. Some neat things I noticed is it changes between subway and subways at different parts along with other variations in the chorus, the outro really has extreme variations in wording, listening at lower volume vs high has a Yanni/Laurel type effect where some words sound really different, the d in wind is delayed a beat and is feint, and I'm fairly certain there's probably at least 2 non English words in the song as I think the end of the first part could be the German word Leben. Best I can do for the lyrics *something* the wind you can't run ??? There's no space There's no tomorrow There's no sense of ??? (sounds kinda like unication but that's not a word) I wanna say the last part of the next verse is "the sun will never shine" ??? *something* the wind Your whole summer Let us ??? There's no place ??? sorrow ??? a repeat of "the sun will never shine" verse The next verse sounds like it ends with "somewhere on your mind" *rocks out till the words start again* goes back to the "sun will never shine" thing the "somewhere on your mind line" but it sounds a little like "blade" was part of the line. Check it in check it out ??? Check it in check it out ??? Check it in check it out (summer?, somewhere?) Check it in check it out ??? Check it in check it out (sun?) Check it in check it out (I heard "it's a re-excuse" can't be but it's what I heard) from there it sounds like it's looping into the fadeout
Weird thing is it sounds like English, in pronunciation, but it is not English. It sounds like a mixture of German, French and English combined. Song from an alternate universe?

a guy recorded this song from a radio station in the 80s, along with other songs, then in the 2000s he decided to search the songs up with his sister to make it a playlist online by searching up the lyrics of the songs, and this song was the only one he couldn't find so his sister posted on a forum asking if people knew where this song was from and nobody had a clue. people forgot about it until someone in 2019 found it and decided to post it on youtube, and still to this day nobody knows who made it and the name of the song, that's why it's called the most mysterious song of the internet. (they even called the same station that played it back in the day, so that they could play it and try to see if anyone remembered it but without success)
Weird thing is it sounds like English, in pronunciation, but it is not English. It sounds like a mixture of German, French and English combined. Song from an alternate universe?
ever since i watched a lyric video, it sounds really clearly like english to me, so i think it is in english. i can hear the lyrics perfectly even though i dont even remember the lyric video or most of the lyrics ive read of the song at all. although some of the words are still a bit foggy
Yeah aye. Most people are saying that the singer is most likely british but i doubt it because at the time, most of the popular british singers in bands such as pink floyd, king crimson, iron maiden and judas priest had quite high pitched voices; they did not sound that deeply pitched at all. I believe that this is a accent is a mix of russian and german with a minor sense of english descent.

The name of this song is “Subways Of Your Mind”.

Fake information
Best I can do for the lyrics
*something* the wind
you can't run
???
There's no space
There's no tomorrow
There's no sense of ??? (sounds kinda like unication but that's not a word)
I wanna say the last part of the next verse is "the sun will never shine"
???
*something* the wind
Your whole summer
Let us ???
There's no place
??? sorrow
???
a repeat of "the sun will never shine" verse
The next verse sounds like it ends with "somewhere on your mind"
*rocks out till the words start again*
goes back to the "sun will never shine" thing
the "somewhere on your mind line" but it sounds a little like "blade" was part of the line.
Check it in check it out ???
Check it in check it out ???
Check it in check it out (summer?, somewhere?)
Check it in check it out ???
Check it in check it out (sun?)
Check it in check it out (I heard "it's a re-excuse" can't be but it's what I heard)
from there it sounds like it's looping into the fadeout
I think the phrase before "the wind" goes as "Fly like the wind". It makes the most sense from what I can hear.
Weird thing is it sounds like English, in pronunciation, but it is not English. It sounds like a mixture of German, French and English combined. Song from an alternate universe?
@@BattleAxe1345 might just be “Like the Wind” thats the most popular interpretation at least.
I hear this:
Like the wind
You came here running
Take the consequence of livin'
There's no fate
There's no tommorow
There's no sense for new division
Check it in, check it out
Or the sun will never shine
Paranoid anyway
In the subways of your mind
Like the wind
Your'e going somwhere
Let us follow you forever
There's no place
Where there's no sorrow
In a young and restless dreaming
Check it in, check it out
Or the sun will never shine
Paranoid anyway
In the subways of your mind
(rock)
Check it in, check it out
Or the sun will never shine
Paranoid anyway
In the subways of your mind
Check it in, check it out
With a summer blue
Tear it in, tear it out
'Cause i reading you
Check it in, check it out
With a summer blue
Tear it in, tear it out
'Cause i reading you
Check it in, check it out
With a summer blue
Tear it in, tear it out
'Cause i reading you
munication - slang word
It's actually very good very Gnostic lyrics.....
So.... IS IT REALLY "BLIND WIND"?!!!
I dont think so. There seems to be a "the" between the first word and wind. Blind the wind doesnt make sense
It’s “Fl-Ike the wind” guys
Like at 0:43 you can hear the words "Check It In, Check It Out" used constantly. This was also the file name for the audio file found online.

any context as to why this song is called" the most mysterious song in the internet". It sounds decent
a guy recorded this song from a radio station in the 80s, along with other songs, then in the 2000s he decided to search the songs up with his sister to make it a playlist online by searching up the lyrics of the songs, and this song was the only one he couldn't find so his sister posted on a forum asking if people knew where this song was from and nobody had a clue. people forgot about it until someone in 2019 found it and decided to post it on youtube, and still to this day nobody knows who made it and the name of the song, that's why it's called the most mysterious song of the internet. (they even called the same station that played it back in the day, so that they could play it and try to see if anyone remembered it but without success)
Bruh you got a lot to learn
@@cornflakes99 thanks for the information.
everyone seems to hear "you came running" but all I can hear is "you can't hear us"
No, you can't hear
SEO! how many pirate stereo FM radio stations were their in 1984's east German
First No one spoke English in east Germany. They spoke Russian as a 2nd language. Also NDR (radio) is West German
Yo great fucking job!!
Sounds like Depeche Mode.
Weird thing is it sounds like English, in pronunciation, but it is not English. It sounds like a mixture of German, French and English combined. Song from an alternate universe?
A bit like Alphaville.
ever since i watched a lyric video, it sounds really clearly like english to me, so i think it is in english. i can hear the lyrics perfectly even though i dont even remember the lyric video or most of the lyrics ive read of the song at all. although some of the words are still a bit foggy
it’s english, if you listen to the vocals isolated you can tell
Imagine it was an alternate universe who found out dimensional travel, and this was the first test object.
SOMEWHERE I KNEW. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Awesome 👏
Wow u are so obsessed with this song
Then, why is TH-cam always deleting my dumb comments about nostalgia on other popular music videos?

bro what if we just contacted the radio station
Its a german radio station called NDR, they have been looking through their archive but can't find it.
@@miri3977 interesting.
@@miri3977 i heard they got rid off all the archives in 2000s because they had a lot of it
who got the royalties ?
I could swear that's Peter Steele. Its sounds exactly like him.
Nope, its a german song
I’m curious, has this remix ever been copyright claimed ?
No, it’s defeated even the strongest copyright overlords.
If anyone were to get copyright claimed, the mystery would be gone.
Fly like the wind

THERE'S NO SENSE FOR MUNICH INVASIONS?
🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Is the song in an actual vhs tape or no im just curious
The song was an compact cassette recorded by someone in the 1980s.
The song was likely made using a Yamaha DX7, so the song is not older than 1983.

If nobody can identify it, I suppose you could get away with using it in your videos, folks. Either, you get to use it, or the real author will be revealed. A win-win
Actually someone claimed it as their own, so you can still get copyright striked for it
