My favourite, buttons in fours and pipes. Dammit wanted to b there this wkend, hope theyre on again next wkend when i'm there. And ghurkas too. What a treat. Thank you Lenny!!!
Thanks Lenny, you have been busy lately. This reminds me of my time in Pipe Bands 50years ago, doing the carnival processions most weekends through the summer months.
That cute kid has been there before and he salutes the soldiers while standing to attention at the entrance to the barracks. He has also been seen at Horseguards Parade. Great kid.
That's a new drill configuration, taking the flank markers outside of the platoon. Even having them was pretty much unique to the Guards, but haring around at the double? What's the term, does anyone know?
Were you referring to the Sikh guardsman wearing a turban? I don't think there has ever been a problem with Sikhs wearing turbans in any regiment of the British Army. He's serving his regiment, our country, and his King proudly, and good for him.
We (the British) have such a strange relationship with the Irish, some hate but lots of regards and respect and dare I say some love too. Maybe at some point we’ll work it out
If I were to win the lottery, I would buy one of those houses right by the barracks so that I could hear the band every day.
That would be great.. I would be out there joining in!

A very enjoyable video. Good to see both the band and the guards.
Thank you ☺️
Great footage of the guards and band. Much appreciated!
Lovely to see, thank you 😊
You are most welcome 🤗
9:28 The kid wearing a guard 💂 uniform complete with a red (Coldstream) plume in his bearskin.. too adorable 🥰. Could Daddy be a guard 💂?

Lenny, can you also focus QG signals. I couldn’t see them in the video. Thank you
Are they still known as QG Signals? I wondered if they'd now be known as the KG Signals? TY
Thank you Lenny, a great video as usual! I wonder why one of the Kings guards was allowed to wear a woolly hat? Didn’t look good 🙏
He is a Sikh. He is wearing a Sikh turban instead of a bearskin.

Why didn't you show the salute at the top of the hill.
Yes, should have shown that. Irish Guards memorial, Irish Guards marching.
