It’s harder to get in Canada and more expensive, but overall I believe it’s worth it. One of the positives you didn’t mention is I find there’s less mess in my Cichlid tanks with this food. Higher quality ingredients = less mess for me to clean up lol. Great video!
I totally agree with you. I got this from aquarium Co Op and my cardinal tetra, cory panda and amano shrimp went crazy on it. This thing is like opioid to my fish and shrimp.
I normally don't use flake food so much as i find it can sometimes cloud the water & encourages surface feeding... which i try to avoid as much as possible to not increase the chances of swim bladder issues. I may be tempted to give this a try though - i'll add to my amazon kart ;), thanks for the tips.
I got the Xtreme pellets for my fish because of your late video about this product. All my fish love them. Now I guess I will be buying the flakes as well to see how they take to it. Ty for this video. 😊
I give it to my glofish, angels, corys, parrots, live bearers, giant danios, acaras and goldfish. They all love it and devour it before it hits the bottom. So when it does reach the bottom, the corys get some too. LOL..even the snails. I love the fact that it sinks right away.
Thanks for the update, I bought this food approximately 5/6 months back, fish seemed to like it(mollys and platties several cats) however the flakes are so thin and delicate that over time they've almost turned to power.. still have half or more left and am going to trash it and try something else.. in your demo looks like the flakes are much thicker and seem to hold up.. so will try again as my fish do like it.. thanks Mat m
Glad you made this,I feed my peacock cichlids this, and they love it,it does help with the color too,I mix it with th extreme krave community fish flakes for my fry,I also really like to feed the new life spectrum probiotics small pellet
I have been using Xtreme pellets, the fish love it. Those flakes look big, with some substance to them. I'm going to order some, been wanting a good flake food. Good video Zenzo. 👍 thanks
To bad we dont have that here in the Netherlands , we do have Northfin and NLS but its so expensive here because of the shipment from USA to the Netherlands but its worth it
I prefer to avoid flake. What do you recommend for herbivore mbuna in a pellet type form? I also have peacocks so I currently feed 2 foods. Sera granugreen and omega one cichlid pellets super color. I find the omega one creates a slight cloud when I first add it to the tank and I don't like that.
My fish love it... but they loved the Sera flakes too... haven’t tried any other flake. My clown loaches eat sawdust and rubber tires, so they aren’t a good yardstick, my gold ocellatus has bullied me into giving him wild caught salmon and grass-fed filet mignon. I will be buying the large can of krill flakes next time.
Still feel that pellets retain their nutrients better as well as being more value to your $$. It’s easy to say when you are getting it free. At the CO-OP flakes 3.5oz $14.99. pellets 20oz $19.99 much better value. When you have lots of tanks that difference adds up fast.
Would really like to compare vs Tropicals food. Noticed the specs are identical. However Tropical is 1/3 of the price.. Wonder what the difference are.
really really do think that Xtreme Provide the best foods on the market, ive been using them for months now and immediately saw better colours, behaviour and breeding activity. im located in Australia so i did a few review videos for the Aussie fish keepers down under. the market for Xtreme is opening slow for us with only a few retailers. Great video and beautiful fish zenzo!
drummer 06 I feed the Oscars Xtreme Monster Pellets and freeze dried krill and insects. I have about 7 different Xtreme foods that I use for various fish.
I have several tanks. I have Zebra Danios, tetras, Dwarf Gourami’s, guppies and Goldfish. Do u think that food is good for them. Great video and I’ve told u this before u definitely have one of the best fish rooms on TH-cam 🔥
Zenzo You dont get paid by Xtreme but you get free fish food from them. Hmmmm, how much would the food cost if you paid for it with your own money? Yes you do get paid. Xtreme gets your endorsment and advertising for the rock bottom price of what it costs them to make their product, which is, pennies per oz.. You save the retail price so its a win-win but to say you don;t get paid is to deny reality.
I was not impressed with this food poor ingredients and low protein content compares with wardley from Walmart. Cobalt fluval and north fin are my go to foods everything else Cory pushes has been great this was a massive let down.
I never said that I am not sponsored. In fact, if you watch the end credits of this very video as well as the pinned comment on almost every other video over the past few months, you will see that I mention that Xtreme Aquatic Foods is a sponsor. What I said is that they are not a "paid" sponsor. There is a difference. Regarding the question of being biased, I have had MANY fish food companies offer me free food over the past year or so. I have had companies such as Hikari, Cobalt, Ocean Nutrition and Sera provide me with free food to try whenever I have asked. I chose to partner with Xtreme because after testing their foods for a couple of months, I felt that they had the best choices for the fish that I keep.
If you want to give this food a try, here is the link: www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/fish-food/products/xtreme-krill-flakes
Thanks Zenzo 👍
Great vid bro, Whats your opinion on Northfin for African cichlids?
KaveMan Aquatics Northfin is a good food. I’ve used it before.
I just ordered it from aquarium co-op, should get it soon. Glad to hear the endorsement.

Chris S go to Petland that’s pretty much all the Carry

I use the community crave which is a blend of the krill and vegetable flake. My fish love the stuff.
My Oscars love the commumity crave flakes
I just bought some of the cat scratchers from super cichlids. can't wait to try it out
Glad you made this,I feed my peacock cichlids this, and they love it,it does help with the color too,I mix it with th extreme krave community fish flakes for my fry,I also really like to feed the new life spectrum probiotics small pellet
Does it cloud the water? Some flakes I used had my water so cloudy I can’t see anything in my tank
No.
How about Fluvals bug bites? My fish love it.
Viking Express I’ve used those too, and it is a good food.
I have been using Xtreme pellets, the fish love it. Those flakes look big, with some substance to them. I'm going to order some, been wanting a good flake food.
Good video Zenzo. 👍 thanks

I feed both the krill and veggies. My Mbunas get the veggies and once a week I will give them the krill. All other fish get the krill.
Love the food.
I agree. Tried this on recommendation from you and other fishtubers. Fish go crazy for it. My Cardinal Tetras have more color than on other foods.
So no xtreme for puffers?
Hi I have been looking to switch to extreme flake food. I have bettas and tetras. Will this be a good product for them??
My bettas and tetras eat it.
Great food.. and everything's looking amazing in the fish room!!!
Want to switch over too xtreme which one do you recommend for African Cichlids the pewee or which one that I can order from Cory
Once i finish off the fish flakes i have i want to try that
My fish love it... but they loved the Sera flakes too... haven’t tried any other flake. I still got some of that food that i got from aquashella in Chicago
My fish love it. I have no trouble feeding it to any of my fish. Great stuff

would it work for a peacock and in mbuna mixed tank
Yes
Would really like to compare vs Tropicals food. Noticed the specs are identical. However Tropical is 1/3 of the price.. Wonder what the difference are.
There is a new brand in europe perhaps you can try it called origin aquatic nutrition fish food you should check it out
Beard suits you a lot Bud... just wonder if you can buy that food in UK?
not yet available in my country
You are awesome! I appreciate your content.
Hello my friend I'm catching up on your videos your an awesome TH-camr
Does flake affect water clarity negatively more than pellet ?
Jays African Cichlids Not that I have experienced.
I like this guy already being that my life is gym and fish tanks

Xtreme foods are really some of the best stuff out there. Btw, those five star generals look amazing!!! where did you get them?
I bought them as a pair at my local fish club a long time ago.
Would be good if we could get xtreame in the uk without paying an arm and a leg
Grate video zenzo wish would could get it in the uk 🇬🇧
Seeing this around alot👍,, might look into trying to get some as it would make it easier to feed my smaller community tanks with just one container👍
.. oh & Your mudskippers are the cutest everrrrrr
What do you feed your Oscars and bigger cichlids?
drummer 06 I feed the Oscars Xtreme Monster Pellets and freeze dried krill and insects. I have about 7 different Xtreme foods that I use for various fish.
I use xtreme also works great for all my barbs and peacock cichlids
I use this food and my fish love it!!
How can i feed this flake to my bottom dwellers fish like corydoras ? Thanks 🙏
Take a pinch, dunk it in the tank while still in your fingers. Wait a few seconds and let it go. The water-logged flake will slowly sink.
@@TazawaTanks thank you sir.
This food is avaible in india??
I have several tanks. I have Zebra Danios, tetras, Dwarf Gourami’s, guppies and Goldfish. Do u think that food is good for them.
Great video and I’ve told u this before u definitely have one of the best fish rooms on TH-cam 🔥
Yes, they would all eat it. You may want to give your goldfish the Xtreme Spirulina Flakes.
Tazawa Tanks thank you and I appreciate the feedback 💪🏼
Can u feed it to young fish?
Absolutely
@@TazawaTanks thank you
If anyone finds a source for this food in Canada, please let us know!!!!
Good
Good work

Okay…I get paid in krill flake 😝
I feed Xtreme Cichlid Pellets to mine.
The pellets are great too. I have them in various sizes from 1.5mm up to 9/10mm!
Xtreme aquatics Community crave is good for my Oscars
I am going to buy it and try it out for my peacocks
I was not impressed with this food poor ingredients and low protein content compares with wardley from Walmart. Cobalt fluval and north fin are my go to foods everything else Cory pushes has been great this was a massive let down.
38% is low, but it's practical for generalized feeding. Convenient. Vibrabites is still my no. 1
NiX aKi I’ve used Vibra Bites before as well. It’s a good food. Not quite as versatile though due to the size/shape.
Yup. Best prepared food. Definitely 100% best flake food.
Good food
Which food do you feed your Oscar's with?
Carl Heller Xtreme Monster Pellets and freeze dried foods.
this is like Cocaine to my african cichlids .. once i put it in they get crazy
E
Too much meal in that food. Omega One has a new pellet food. No meal. All whole ingredients
i like your channel but when you say i'm not sponsored by xtreme but they give me free stuff that's not an unbias review...
