My one fun run with ETC was one golden yogg spinner and one non-golden in duos (while giving the Eudora buddy "on a curve" for a teammate that got an early triple). Denathrius with buddy discovery also was fun ;)
D4 may have a ton of bugs, but Cyberpunk was literally unplayable for many on PC when it launched.

Speaking of underplayed heroes…the last game I attempted to play last night, I was excited to see Sire. My quest rewards pop up and it’s “Avenge 4: get a random tavern spell” and “When you play a minion give other minions of the same type +1/+1… I just left the lobby. Like why are those even options in this trinket patch.
I didn't mind trinkets at all until last night when i saw the bannana slamma trinket. Essentially they took the most overpowered build that could be beat by killing bannana slamma and made bannana slamma unkillable via the trinket. Great job blizzard.
There are plenty of videos of Cyberpunk 2077 version 1.0 on TH-cam, with and without the Day 1 patch. I fucking beg you to watch that and say it's less bugged than D4 or BGs
Tbh i love trinket meta in my opinion really good patch when you play for fun ( not consistent that much but the numbers tho)

Honestly, I just think people want the game "as a service" trend to end. They don't have patience for it anymore, and concord did not have enough positives to counterbalance it. So people didn't bother.

I think the Cyberpunk hate was WAY overblown. Yes it had some issues, and in a very few cases was unplayable. I think it was an issue with expectations. As for D4, I gave up on that dumpster fire a while ago.
Diablo and bg are also buggy mess, same as cyberpunk, yes. What was Kripps point?
I, one hundred percent, agree with your opening statement.
If you don’t have fun playing games, then that kinda removes the “game” aspect out of it.
Which brings me to Guff. He must be one of the most useless heroes in the game right now.
There is 1 minion that supports his hero power, and that’s the tier 5 demonmurloc that grows when you discovers minions, and when you play Guff every single player veers into the path of either demons or murlocs, effectively rendering his hero power almost completely useless.
And if you play ETC, then the ultimate goal has to be double dipping into ironforge anvil (triple stats of neutral minions), which relies on two main factors; the lobby can’t be filled with minion types with lots of cc/poison and you have to force the double dip on the triplets.
To me, it seems I’m more likely to postpone my lesser trinket when my board state is “undecided” with different minion types mixed with no minion types, and if this gets locked in, then you’ll have to get to 20 or lower HP, but preferably not within lethal range, and hope that you get ironforge’s anvil.
After that, he’s one of the most fun hero’s to play, at least for the couple of turns that are left.
Trinkets are the most fun i ever had in BG's. I hate the buddies.
