This is very atmospheric. The music creates a kind of mesmirising fog about the image. The guitar tone is really fitting, I think maybe I could have used guitar in mine, haha. Lovely piece, well done!

The guitar reminds me a little bit of the Last of Us.
Like you said, you weren't sure whether to go dark or happy. I think the vocals do a good job of keeping the mood ambiguous.
