    Wow! As always, packed with so many gems & amazing information!! I started to list all the things I loved in this video & it was literally everything in every chapter (love the chapter list btw) I would totally love to check out the underground tunnels, so hopefully those aren't closed, closed - you get some footage & get to explore!! Also I love how friendly everyone is, the beautiful tiles, architecture & dope murals! Looking forward to the smallest volcano & more adventures from my favorite dynamic duo!! 💜🕶💙

      Thanks for the awesome comment! 😄 I hate we weren’t able to go inside of the tunnels but hopefully next time!! We do really enjoy the friendliness of the people. It’s awesome to be able to converse with a lot of the locals. We’re gonna have fun editing the video with the smallest volcano! 😁

    Super cool that you got the visit the perfect city! Thanks for the rundown on how it was planned, sounds like it paid off. I’d love to visit a place with spring like weather all year round. Too bad you couldn’t get video of the inside of the chapel but the inside of the library was incredible. It’s great that you go through so much detail, hopefully you take time off from filming and producing to enjoy yourself. Super cool about the secret tunnels, I can’t believe that they weren’t officially discovered until 2016 😮. I’m going to visit just for the street off candies 😋 take care guys 👍🏻

      I know! We would have loved to get some footage of the interior of the cathedral but just being able to see it in person was amazing! Yes, we plan to take some self care days in the future although the candy street was my form of treating myself. 😂 We couldn’t believe the tunnels weren’t discovered until recently either!!! So cool 🤯🤯 stay safe, amigo!!

    Question, yall going city to city…when you go online and find an Airbnb, how do you know if it is in a sketchy neighborhood before arriving ?
    Puebla looks awesome ! Thx

    • @laurenandseth
      @laurenandseth  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! There is always a chance that we end up not liking the location but there are a couple things we do to try and lower those chances. Of course we always read reviews and the host’s description. If you book somewhere close to the centro it’s usually bustling with plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. On Airbnb they don’t give you the exact address, only an approximate location so we go to Google earth and virtually “tour” the area to see what’s close. Also, if there are any blogs or Facebook groups for the city we’re visiting then we use that to our advantage to see what neighborhoods or areas everyone recommends. I hope that helps! 😄

    Should I visit Oaxaca or Puebla first? trying to decide between these two

    • @laurenandseth
      @laurenandseth  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lot of people will probably disagree, but I, Seth, would have to go with visiting Puebla first! It’s a great introduction to the country and to central Mexico. Especially if you’re just going to do a city trip. Both have fantastic food scenes, culture and history, but overall there is more to do and see in Puebla! If you want to tie in the coast though, the Oaxaca coast is really beautiful so that’s a bonus for Oaxaca.

      Still Puebla by far for me, Seth. For Lauren I know it's up there I think it ties with San Cristobal for her. Puebla is hard to beat! Great climate, amazing food scene and culture, mountains, close to Mexico City, some of the best people. It's a beautiful place!
