This song is played after Felix's team have lighted the Jupiter Lighthouse, which brings destruction to the world if Mars Lighthouse remains unlighted. With your Dragon Boat which has been given wings to soar through the sky, the entire party of Golden Sun 1 and 2 marches forward to the final battle on top of the Mars Lighthouse. Man, the moment the Mars Lighthouse beacon is lit, I felt satisfying like a hero who achieved a laborous task, and but also sad since I was aware that my journey was coming to the end.
I miss games like these. Golden Sun 1 and 2 will always be the best GBA RPG games in my opinion. The music, battle system, and even the graphics were great. It's hard to believe Golden Sun released 15 years ago (2001). My 11 year old mind was blown away by Golden Sun. :)
I haven’t a ps when I was a kid growing up, only an n64, GameCube, and gba at some point and I was craving an epic rpg, golden sun ended up being that for me!
Hi guys just want to ask do u think a remake of golden sun 1 and 2 will be good if we put the gameplay of final fantasy 7 remake and of course the graphics
The moment felix and its group meet up and explaination of lighting lighthouse, clearing all misunderstand of all 8 of them. And embark a new journey towards lightning the final mars lighthouse determination to find back their love ones.
There we see, Isaac and Felix both Leading theur team to light the last Lighthouse. The journey is about to end, but In the end, You know Playing was worth the time. Then You decide to play the game again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again. You know you've done this. And even if your still playing through the same game multiple times, its still worth it.......
This and Tales Of Symphonia gave such great memories for me as a kid. Story and music-wise they are almost identical though I heard they both had the same music composer so it makes so much sense.
Music yes since Sakuraba was at least partially responsible for the OST, but identical in story?? Golden Sun was about betting the fate of the world and having it pay off, with a heavy emphasis on the blurry line between antagonist and protagonists. Symphonia was a story of restoring two worlds to a form they always should've had against a hefty backdrop of racism, the sacrificial mentality, and the consequences of unaddressed grief and never growing up.
@@magi-yoshi41yep, I drew that connection years ago and this is the first im seeing someone else notice it. It sounds super similar to Synphonia's opening FMV theme.
when i played this game for the first time and heard this after the joining of the 2 parties, i remember thinking "it just got real, this is it .... lets do this!"
The first time I heard this after the others joined I felt so inspired to continue on to Mars Lighthouse. Everyone was finally working together for the same goal.
Okay seriously, more people need to know about these extended editions of the tracks. But I guess that will take some time being that there videos are rather new. But thanks for doing this!
Onward to the final Lighthouse. The end is coming near. The clock is tickling, and your failure means the doom of the vast world of Weyard. You know something awaiting you on top, something powerful and deadly, but no one, absolutely no one can stop you now.
Dude this freakin theme hits so hard. They really killed with this OST. Especially since its a freakin gba game man they did NOT have to go as hard as they did
The game became 300x more epic when this played after getting Isaac’s team to join up with you. Exploring all of the second half of Weyard with all 8 Adepts was amazing.
I think this is exactly the moment where GS3 should start, at Contigo, with side characters. When Isaac and Felix joins forces, it almost seals the end of the game, so creating a new narrative at this moment would be extraordinalily cool. Why ? Just imagine having an even bigger map than what you've seen so far at this moment, like in FF3 for instance.
Even elbaf finally got revealed on screen, All the yonkous and top players are gunning to complete the final piece of their rode poneglyphs collection. Man, one piece final saga is really cooking.
First time I play Golden Sun I really don't understand the game at at all until found out that the game is so epic to play and beat the game at least 3 or 4 month if I remember it was too long ago than brought Lost Age a year later and beat that also. I'm glad that I brought Golden Sun in that very day when it came out and it always be my favorite game in Game Boy Advance. I still have both of the game in this very day but I lost the first one and got stuck playing the Lost Age oh well.
So much good memories =] Golden Sun is, after 7 years, still in my Top 3 epicest games :D Btw, if you still extend songs, can you make me the Izumo in Despair to an extended version, cus I dunno how to do it myself, and the 2 minutes OST is kinda to short lol x]
Anyone get tones of the Tales of Symphonia opening from this one? I don't know if it's a coincidence, but it's eerily similar to the opening notes of the English Opening, I think.
I dont get why people keep hating on Dark Dawn, it was as epic as the first two.. fuck the Haters, i love all of them and enjoyed the third as much as the other ones!
Dark Dawn had its moments for sure, but the thing that bothers me, is that it was Broken Seal and Lost Age rolled into one game, but it was maybe longer than Broken Seal, and definitely shorter than Lost Age. Also, the second Venus Adept being a girl made it that only Matthew could wield the Sol Blade, and Rouf not being able to use even Light Blades, was just disappointing. Other than those things, the story is amazing, the soundtrack is awesome, the game world is immersive, and the characters leave strong impressions on the player (except for the Venus girl and the Mars guy that join later in Dark Dawn, they were mostly forgettable, I don't even remember their names lol. We really need Part 4 of this epic saga.
And I would actually agree with that statement, but there's no need to essentially say someone's opinion is invalid simply because you disagree. I would also agree that there needs to be a 4th GS. And if people truly didn't care about his comment, there wouldn't be any need to continuously rate it down and mark it as spam.
missed opportunity, this game could have been one of the best in storywise but they didnt pushed more often and instead rely on fillers. wish they add more personalities to the characters and more dialogue/conversation with each other. if they ever remake these games then they have a chance to add more depth to the story and dialogue

Definitively one of the best overworld themes for an RPG. :]

THE best

Both Golden Sun and the Lost Age has been announced for Nintendo Switch online! I cannot wait to play these games again! One of all time favorites!
This is without ANY doubt the BEST world map theme
“I’m glad you kept your promise, Felix.”
Awesome game!

this theme sounds very similar Tales of Symphonia intro song in certain aspects, them having the same composer makes too much sense
Wow, I didn't know that! No wonder it sounded so comfy and familiar to me. 😊

I used to sit in sound test mode and let this song play for hours on the GBA.
I shed tears of joy every time I hear this!
It saddens me to no end that my FAVORITE game of all time came to an end. I NEVER wanted this game to end. I miss it so much...
que juegazos y que banda sonora!
ojala hagan los remakes del 1 y 2 para la switch

Waiting with determination for the re-release of this jewels on the Switch Online!

Can you extend The Lost Age Main Theme?

This from the same people that made tales of symphonia music , cause it sound a lot like the opening music to it

True :/
GSDD is just not that.. Golden Sun like what it used to be, how we used to play it. It's too different :/
I like how there was no reason for you to bash Dark Dawn, but you still did so anyways.
