I inadvertently canceled the Z wave signal of the entire connected system and without you I don't know if I would have been able to reinstall all the elements including the sirens on the central system. Now I understood how the signal works. It took me a few hours but I did it. Thanks again
Would it be the same process for a kwickset lock that I’m trying to exclude from a Vivint system I no longer have ?? I’m trying to u# it with my new ring alarm.
My Gen 1 sensor is stuck on Tamper and it won't disconnect from the network. I have done the battery-out thing.. the app says the device is disconnected.. but it's still in the list (as tamper) and won't let me re-install it.. says it exists. But it's blinking 3 times and does nothing. I tried the Z wave thing too. Says it uninstalled it but it's still in the list. I think I'm about done with Ring. Flood light cam speaker/siren doesn't work either. So much garbage these days.
I change my network but my ring is not working anymore. I tried to reset it and now the keypad is not working together with the base station. What can I do?
