The ego of jezza lynch happened and it became way to serious, last last 1 did not seem fun, it was only xo that wasn't too bothered about not winning

Losing the enjoyment of watching TH-camrs destroyed the Wembley cup to this day my favourite Wembley cup memory is when B87 came on latched on to a loose ball and his pants started falling off with true geordie laughing in the background in commentary that for me is the true spirit of the Wembley cup which is just a bunch of youtubers going out there and enjoying themselves

I didn’t like the last Wembley cup, ngl, bc of the short matches and lack of TH-camrs. The best one IMO was 2016 by far. Spencer FC v Weller Wanderers. All the players were either TH-camrs or football legends. Great goals were scored and it was Generally a tight game for most of the 90 mins, end to end stuff

The Manjeto but truly he is a great person whenever you meet him. I’ve met him twice, one his book signing and he other stuff the fifa World Cup. At the World Cup, rather than just going hi, as it was right before the final, he took out his ear piece, and had a good 5 min chat which he was still talking when he was ushered off, so not thinking about the final, he said sorry enjoy your day and then went didn’t just go

I think it would be so sick if mainstream media looked into producing a Wembley cup series similar to soccer aid and have a sort of new age vs Stone Age type of rivalry with one TH-cam side and one ‘traditional’ celebrity side so it appeals to a wider audience. Really enjoyed this type of video lads! Loved how open it was around the work that goes into getting something like the Wembley Cup off the group and how it constantly had to adapt to survive! Definitely would be great to see you and Seb continue to do this type of content!

The first Wembley Cup will always be the best. The format was perfect and the videos leading up to the game with the challenges are (in my opinion) the best content you've ever put out on your channel. To mirror what others have said, it felt more like a professional event each year, when actually I think one of the main appeals initially was how casual and innocent the whole thing felt; it was more like friends having a kickabout than some hyper-organised tournament like the latest installment. If the event ever does make a return, I'd like to see the initial format come back, and dear God leave the F2 out of it.
(Apologies if this gets addressed in the video, commenting before watching)
Good points, personally I think the second one was the best just because by that point you had a crowd there and people could watch it live. Plus you had the moments like Theo Bakers goal and the introduction of legends.
