Hey little bit of info about the thing at 2:40, the Camp Tyrants do get Immortality, it's just built in. So if the camp gets destroyed, you keep the tyrant and all the buildings and can just place it back 5 turns later. The only things you end up losing is all the food and units in the camp.
Amazing to know this, and wow that's not OP but very appreciated. Was there a way to accelerate XP gain for camp tyrants (outside of the redline primary skill)?
I love how punishment systems on the internet slowly do not take context into account more and more. They've been taking away things like telling you why you got punished and the opportunity for a back and forth conversation (one appeal chance without knowing what you even did wrong and then rejected without words and nowhere to contact them about it again). It's rather ridiculous and very sad that you cannot say the characters name... I imagine in the next 5 years that false positives will be so high that a lot of people simply won't socialise in games and content creators will not get to properly show themselves and thrive. God forbid this approach leaks into the offline world. To put this into perspective, imagine saying something that's completely innocent, but because it sounded like something else to someone, they reported you and you are incapable of defending yourself, get fired and lose your income. This is already what Legend here has to be mindful of... I think we can all agree that is not indicative of a healthy landscape to exist in.
I agree that this is a shit system and that it is not healthy. At least for north america, we are already seeing widespread self-censoring. There's this political correctness scare where people have very mild opinions but are scared to talk their mind and so they quiet up out of fear of tripping any trigger or sensitive topic.
Your are looking at how data is processed at a large scale. TH-cam cannot parse this much data without an AI, and an AI cannot determine context very well. You act like humans are involved in this process and they are refusing to cooperate. It's an AI from the top down. This fearmongering is unwarranted, unless AI is gonna take over the world soon. (Do you know something I don't? Is Elon's brain chip more popular than I thought?)
This is ruining history channals. Good luck covering WW2, you basically have to call Hitler "the angry man with a small mustache" and censor every images of svastikas or any symbols of The Third Reich. Call of Duty has a voice-chat monitoring AI that will insta-ban anyone caught being nasty in chat. Only problem is, like you mentioned, it has an extremely high false positive rate. In-game chat was already dying because most people stay in their Discord VC's, but now it's well and truly dead because people keep getting banned for saying completely normal sentences with no harsh language whatsoever.
Its weird that in a faction like ogres some of the best units arent really what youd expect. Best anti infantry is stornhorns and now thundertusks. Its not that other ogres units dont do well vs infantry, but that its much easier to heal and cycle charge with these big units, and they absolutely destroy infantry on the charge its not even close. Then you get leadbelchers which are fantastic multi purpose ranged units capable of dealing good damage against all units types. Then you just want anti large maneaters or crushers to deal with any large units that might want to fight your thundertusks/ stonehorns and youve got a near unstoppable army in the campaign. Any other units are just dressing tbh.
What if instead of being called Total War: Warhammer 3 the game was called Total War: Freaky-hammer 3 and instead of battles the factions just got Freaky???

This has to be a pretty rare occurrence? That many armies defending a single location? I know that this scenario is a thing in the game, but this seems extra extreme.
I think the enemy faction's AI is kinda weirded out by islands, after occupation of an island they often are stuck doing nothing and just chilling in their new home. Back in the day Ku'Gath often did the same, only he didn't get to generate free armies, so his island resort wasn't such a sight.
The camp lords don't die when they're beaten, they just go into a wounded state. They're effectively immortal from level 1. Golgs pistol does a bunch of damage to single entities and has unlimited uses.

I wasn't at war with them but I didn't really know how to deal with it, so I ended up just leaving 4 armies on my border there to defend if they tried to attack me. Much, MUCH later in the game they did eventually move out and break up and I was able to pick them apart then but It was pretty worrying while I was waiting. In my case I had confederated both the Fey Enchantress and "King Bretonnia guy who is not as cool as Repanse so can't bother to remember his name", and I think Heinrich was at war with the King and were down to their last settlement. So when I confederated the King the AI got stuck w/ a target assignment for a settlement for a faction that no longer existed and since they weren't at war with me they just kinda froze there not knowing how to complete the assigned action.
