- In this video we are out in the beautiful Gifford Pinchot National Forest exploring possible campsites. We travel 2000 feet up a mountain, find many great places, get spooked out at the top from noises in the forest, then find a great campsite near a beautiful waterfall!! Then we get some drinks going, make pizzas on the campstove, and enjoy the night by our ragging fire. We hope you enjoy this exploring, spooky, yummy adventure!!

Liking the format almost subscribed at the drone footage to start, couldn't resist after talking about being good campsite stewards! Awesome video & showing off the GPNF!
@david17500 thank you so much - love the Giff!
Nice. I explore and fish GF all of the time. I may go up with my new little trailer tomorrow for it's first night out. I may try to find that site.
That's great! Good luck, safe travels & have fun!!
Great video, stay motivated your future is bright. 😊
Thank you so much!!
Wow, beautiful area. Thx for all your effort putting this together.
Thanks for watching!!
Amazing views of St helens
Endless dead ends, roads with downed trees and some areas where the road is simply gone from Slides.
Very true. So many roads we have turned around on. Lol
@@ourpnwadventures All of that and weyerhaeuser Gates.
I live in White Salmon and have spent years in GPNF. You ever explore the big lava bed and see the crater? It’s pretty cool
No we haven't yet. Closest place we have been to there is Panther Creek Falls and hiking in the Indian Heaven Wilderness. Definitely need to go there. Thanks!!
@@ourpnwadventures Pretty cool
I LOVED this!
Thanks for watching!!
I always try and carry a chainsaw when in the forest areas. And a hand saw always in right I do love that area around GPNF.
Thank you for sharing. Just now started to explore Gifford Pinchot and this helps
Thanks for watching!! Happy Exploring!!
I think Washington State is Sasquatch country. I'm from Tacoma. Last summer I camped at Olympic National Forest. At 2am, I woke up from a deep sleep from branches breaking around me. It went on for 5 minutes or so. I told the forest ranger about my weird experiences. He just dismissed me and told not worry about it. It's probably a deer. What kind of forest noises did you hear at the Gifford National Forest?
Oh man that's a crazy experience!! We eould of been freaked out big time!! They are definitely up in the Olympics and can't wait to camp up there. Actually where we have camped in the Giff, it is dead quiet at night. Nothing. But always ready and keeping our ears open. Thanks for the comment!! 👣
I’m unable to leave the house to go camping due to disabilities & health issues so I watch your videos ❤️ Awesome videos. I’m in Kent, WA, btw.
Thank you so much for watching!! ❤️
Nice video! Great editing! And this scenery is incredible. How far up the road were sites 3-5? I’m into the whole Bigfoot thing. Also, what month was this?
Hey! The road is about 4 miles so site 3-5 is about at the top - 3-4 miles up. We were there June 9th. We camped there in October and had no experiences.
Ok thanks man!
I'm the 1,000th view.
Heck Yeah!! 🙌👍🙌👍🙌
New here. New subscriber as well. Great content 👍🏽
Thank you!!
Always bring a chain saw. You never know when a Sasquatch is going to push a tree over behind you. ;-)
Hahaha!!! Oh good point thanks!! 🤣👣
Was there cell service at twin Falls campsite? Just subscribed I enjoyed the content guys
No cell service. Thank you so much!!
I am pretty new to the area, and feel free to not answer but how would I go about finding your campsite #2? Or the one with the waterfall =] I would love to take my children there!
That area is right between Mt Adam's & Mt St Helen's. On a road called NF-90. Campsite #2 is off and up on a mountain rd (9085) & the waterfall campsite is called Twin Falls Campground right off the 90. Shhhhh don't tell anyone else. Lol
@@ourpnwadventures You're awesome for this! I'm a 100% disabled vet so I am in nature quite a lot. Appreciate you immensely!
Happy exploring!! Note that there's alot of snow up there right now but hopefully in a couple months it will be clear.
@@ourpnwadventures Appreciate it!
I am planning to go here but I am wondering, can I just drive to this forest find a spot I like & park and stay over night?
Yes. Have a great time! It's a beautiful place!
@@ourpnwadventures thank you!
and where is a picture of Bigfoot,
We're trying! Haha!!
Where is campsite #6?
It's called Twin Falls Campground. About 10 or 15 miles past the Lower Lewis Falls on the Lewis River.
did you have to bring extra gasoline for this trip?
No. We made it home without having to fuel up. Next Sundays Video will be night 2 by Mt. Adam's. 👍
