It’d be awesome if they added an amusement park to it, even if it’s outdoor and only open half the year. An air and space themed roller coaster or 2 would definitely attract more people!
It's most likely a 747-100; the very 1st variant of the 747. I've ridden 5 747s; the 1st was a -100 in 1977; the other four were -200s in the 1980s. Since then the only plane I've been on that big was the Cathay Pacific 777-300 I took from Vancouver to JFK and back in 2014; my last trip on an airplane that didn't involve riding so much as even one roller coaster. As for waterslides: I keep bringing swimming shorts to amusement parks but never used them. I actually haven't ridden a water slide since 1995! That hopefully change next year during my 1st visit to Holiday World; assuming I can afford it. Thanks for posting!
Holiday World's water park is definitely worth checking out for their water coasters. If you haven't been on a water slide since 1995, the ones there will be a major step up for you.
It definitely looks like a park worth visiting because of how unique it is, but unless they add something new, it's also probably a one and done location.
i live in mcminnville oregon and have been here many times its a great place for a family or friend gathering and most people ik have been here too it's a loved place and ik they havent added anything but it's kinda nice to have the familiarity anytime u go and know what u wanna do its a great place, even all the times ive been therr ive never had the food(it's usually not needed bc of the short day) but it can get pretty spendy expecially if you bring many people and/or want tubes for the slides😕 but ya super cool place!
I grew up in Oregon and while I love the place we needed more in the family park department. That said, Evergreen is a real treat and it's a much needed destination for the state between the cool museum and the waterpark. When it comes to this kind of family entertainment we basically had Enchanted Forest (which is admittedly pretty cool and quirky which fits for Oregon), Evergreen, Oregon Zoo, Oregon Coast Aquarium, Wildlife Safari and Oaks Amusement park. And we use to have a tiny park called Thrillville next to Enchanted Forest but it was not much and now it's gone. Beyond that, Oregon doesn't have a lot of park based entertainment which is a shame. The state needs an indoor park like Nickelodeon Universe or a seasonal park like Holiday World. But I don't see that happening any time soon.
I live near ish to McMinville and had no idea this place existed and I've been in Oregon my whole life. And I've always wanted to see a 747,so I'm hoping we can visit this summer.
roller coasters and waterslides are supposed to move a bit, as if they were tight, there would be MUCH more stress, and high chance of something breaking or snapping
hi! I am going there tomorrow and me and my family were confused, this helped. Which size of a locker do u think could fit an adult sized life jacket? And do you think we are allowed to bring snorkels?
DAAAAAAAAAANG I remember going to this place all the time as a little kid. Sad to see they haven't added anything new.
I hope that changes in the future.
they have a Vr slide

That would be cool.
Please, let this happen!
Man I love your video's, always excited when I see one in my notifications. I really think you deserve more subscribers!
Enjoy!
Looks so unique with the plane
Sure does.
Whoa! I was JUST there last week! It’s so cool!!
Nice!

It is.

Yeah I wish it had some more exteme slides.

Definitely glad I checked it out.
I'm from McMinnville Oregon and that place is really fun. But it is quite spendy sometimes.
It is a lot for a short park day.
I’ve seen it but never been too it
Duuuuuude I haven’t been here in like 8 years! I love this place!!
It was a cool park.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah!

It's surprising the pacific northwest doesn't have a better park!

It's a cool place.
I installed the big screen at the end of the wave pool. Cool place!
Very cool!
I've gone here like 5 times and 4 of the times I went it was dark is WAY more pretty because they have lights and it kinda makes th water glow!!!
That sounds cool.
That’s fascinating 2:27 but omg did anyone else notice this slide shifting from the persons weight
Yes I did. It's easier to see shifting of rides at indoor parks.
roller coasters and waterslides are supposed to move a bit, as if they were tight, there would be MUCH more stress, and high chance of something breaking or snapping
Ive only been there once but im going again soon i Loved it btw love your vids
Thanks!
I have been that waterpark
Nice!
A couple of drop pod slides would be cool to see here
Yes they would.
'Nosedive' is a name sounds like it would be better suited for a speed slide.
True!

I do not know the answers to those, sorry
@@CanobieCoaster I’m going there rn lol
Good timing
While the water park makes for a fun day, the real attraction of the Evergreen aviation site is the "Spruce Goose".
I had to look that up.
Where is this place in reference to Portland?
It's an hour southwest.
I really want to go here
It's a neat park!
2:22 has quite a bit of flex. I'm just not used to seeing that (lol).
It's easier to see flexing at indoor parks for slides and coasters.
Oh, so i can land my 747 on top of the water park? Now got to get a 747 to avoid travel costs. Also fuselage is pronounced fu-sa-lodge.
Lol that's a way to arrive at a park.
Do you love California
Great state to visit.
0:12 I feel like "featuring a actual airplane on the roof" is really under selling that they some how got a 747 on the freaking roof of the building.
It's impressive.
I've been here and the orange slide is terrible it throws you into a deep pool
I like how it does that.
It’s 4 feet deep
Totally don't live in Mcminville
I do not.
👋🫶🏻👍🏻✌🏻
Thanks!
