Actually, they were sanakadik rishis who cursed Jay and Vijay as the gate keepers didn't allow the kumaras to enter the vaikuntha and meet Narayan. Also, the choice given by Narayan was either 7 births as my devotees or 3 births as enemies. So, jay and Vijay decided to take 3 births as enemies as they will return to Vaikunth early as compared to taking 7 births and then returning to Vaikunth.
Moreover, in Dwapar Yug, they took birth as Shishupal and Dantavakra, Kans was the rebirth of Kalanemi.

What if the evil people were good people in their earlier birth..and they were made to do bad things and as karma follows them thus in the next birth they were born as evil people..
Just like the movies ,all the characters cannot be good otherwise the movie will be boring like hell...
And in movies, the more pain the protagonist suffers the more attached we become to him or her..and we want to see how he wins over the evil..same is the case with ramayan and Mahabharata...Lord Ram and the Pandavas suffered the most..
      It is Vishnuji 's leela..

These epics are there for a reason
If we keep our brain away from modern day non Sense and judgemental eyes
Every single part and thing teaches us something and they all have significance of their own
Why south differs is because it was less subjected to invasion or parts of it were always away from British rule so they kept ancient things alive
Also i feel bad for loosing books in Nalanda and takshashila
Can't imagine what got destroyed there or what actually was there
I think that's where we lost everything we had
It's the major disconnect and why we are not able to add and understand things

If u go before the European colonial times south lands were pretty much unconquered. They were rich in resources and trade with arabs, greek and rome dating back to 2000bce, compared to North that faced invasions most of the time by central asian powers.

As long as we understand that Ravana was basically evil (greed, anger etc) and still revere him for his skills, thats fine. But there are only neglidgible amount of people like this. Majority are either dead against Ravana or making Ravana a hero. Always on the extremes. But here, to a certain extent its ok to be against Ravana completely because that was the plan of Leela where evil gets defeated. So Skills alone doesn't matter. One also needs to be good. That is the message we should learn from Ravana.

These are all stories born in the minds of great human minds, not history. That is why all these characters have all the human attributes, faculties and good and bad characteristics in them.
The north Indians generally rebuke Asuras. But what about 'suras' eg; The deva of devas, Indra, has all the mischievous characteristics, jealousy, lust, anger etc., ( He had laid even the wives of many sages ). Despite this, majority of the people in India consider him as a good character.

Also, yes Indra many times fallen from his position because of his bad doings but still because he is a devotee of Krishna and Krishna take examples of his devotees to teach lessons to others . So one should trie to understand and apply teachings and morals that Krishna is trying to give through his devotees.

Not surprised the guest stood for ravana with his own excuses. Being a dravidian or lankan most of the author’s vouch for Ravana as their king since he ruled lanka which actually he stole from his brother kubera. No doubt Ravana acquired many skills, knowledge and wisdom but he never ever used them for good deeds. Lynching is a very wrong word and it’s a bias towards north. As how dravidians sees ravana as their king the north too respects Ram as their king. Simply its the victory of good over the evil. True that Ravana is an incarnation of Jaya or Vijaya but every life is different and you have to suffer the consequences of karma of that particular life so you can’t refer anyone to their past life and say ohh he was so good in that life which is never applicable in karma siddhantha. He said Ram doesn’t want anything in life which again is a wrong statement. Ram sacrificed kingdom to keep his father’s word that’s it. After returning from lanka he ruled Ayodhya for 11k years.

SITA is personality number 3, the no.3s have the ability to attract people, either with outer or inner beauty. Their friendly and extrovert personality makes being around them an uplifting experience and many are drawn to their magnetic and charismatic influence.
Ravanas personality no. is 9 They are charismatic, dignified and come across as having confidence in thier abilities and talents. They have a noble appearance and are very much in control of the image they wish to project. Many celebrities and public figures have this personality number. They have the ability to attract people and at the same time repel others. While many admire them, some are jealous and task themselves to belittle them due to their arrogance. Their challenge is to be humble and to try not to hold themself above everyone else.

RAAVANA IS ALSO A GOD,.., I LOVE RAAVANA,.. Raavana was a great king,. He ruled Tamil peoples with Joy,.. Everyone one knows the god will won in the battle of God vs Human,.. Raavana was also knew that, but still he fighting for his motherland 🥲..... Lord Rama said, Raavana was the true brave warrior in the battle.... Raavana's Other names are : 1.Sivathaasan this name is given by his mom by his birth. (Sivathaasan which means someone is always present in Lord Shiva's leg, in other words, who one is always saying Lord Shiva's Name ) 2.Nilavazhagi Paandiyan (it is Raavana's name given by his mother)
    3. RAAVANESHVAR or LANKESHVAR ( ishvar is a title given by lord Shiva,. It is soo tough to get, only some gods have this Ishvar title, some of the gods are Nandhishvar (lord Shiva's vehicle nandhi have the ishvar title) 2.SANEESHVAR ( saneeshvar was created by lord Shiva to giving karma for all humans and gods..).... and Raavana also have this ishavar Title,. RAAVANESHVAR OR LANKESHVAR.....
He lost his Brothers, and one brother helped to lord Rama that is a big reason for Raavana's death... And he lost his son.. and he lost his beautifull Motherland... He lost everything,.. the funny thing is even god has takes more than 7 days to kill Raavaneshvar... This shows how Raavana's heroism.... Don't tell raavan was a evil ,
he kidnapped mother Sita,.. is not fair.. Raavana even didn't touched Sita,.. and you know He was a great Scholar in Ayurvedic medicine. He was the person who invented “Arka Shastra”. The book “Arka Prakshaya” reveals this truth to the present world. As his willing to research in Ayurvedic medicine he wrote several books revealing the cures for many diseases. In one book he wrote “Eating beef cause to infect ninety eight new diseases to human beings
The book “Kumara Tantraya” which reveals the treatments for infant diseases was written by him accepting the request of his pregnant queen Mandodari
He also composed Shiva tandav strotam,..
Some of the Raavana's medical books were still using in south tamilnadu and Srilanka...
So don't tell Raavan was a demon,.he was not a bad person,,.,
    OM NAMAH SHIVAYA,
    JAI SHREE RAM,
    JAI RAAVANESHVAR,
    OM JAI MAARUTI NAMAHA...

Ravana was the most powerful king in those days, not only great king he was the
    Great musician
    Great engineer
    Great doctor
    Great astrologist
    Great man
    Great husband
    Great brother
He loved queen Mandodari very much. And also he loved his sister supernika and his stepbrother Vibishvana also.
But his stepbrother helped to Rama to kill Ravan.
I think this story is not a religious story, actually this is a political story.
Because Ravan is the most powerful king in those days. And he ruled the most counties in area. So Vibishvana wanted to take his place and Rama wanted to rule that all area. So Rama wanted to creat a war. So they went that forest that ruled by Ravana’s sister Suparnika and he cut her nose.
Because he know that Ravana loved his sister very much.
War started and Vibishvana also supported to Rama. Monkey hanuman also supported and after killed him by cheating.
After queen Mandodari became the ruler of area, so Vibishvana married queen Mandodari by cheating, and Rama became the ruler of area. Because Vibishvana is not a powerful ruler like rawan.
Rama used his wife, Rawana’s stepbrother, laksman, and slave Hanumantha for it.
After Valmiki converted this political story to religious story. After that South Indian kings tried to attack to Sri Lanka so many times due to this story.
And Valmiki converted all books to his name that wrote by king rawan.
    Jay Sri Rawan…❤❤❤

The kumar's weren' t allowed entry since they were in kid's form so the Jaya and Vijaya didn't allow them to meet their God. Hence, in anger they cursed both of them. When it comes to Ravana we look for geo location. When it comes to Ram we don't look for geo points but taking us through cyclic versions. Sharing knowledge and making one think is good but this doesn't serve that purpose. This rather imparts a one directional way of thinking into something non existence There are many examples such as relating "intelligence to devotion and directly calling it blind". These are just false accreditions of intelligence and trying to take away devotion.

*@Nethmi Navodya* What did you said, "God Rawan" ?? Since when Ravan become a god to you? Do you even know who he was? Ravana was 1% good and 99% evil and bad. A serial Rápist cannot be 90% good person. He was never better than the present days human beings.... एक सच्चा शिव भक्त कभी mass scales पे मर्डर और रेप नहीं करते। रावण के बारे में सच्चाई जानने के लिए कृपया प्रामाणिक वाल्मीकि रामायण पढ़ें।
Ravana did tapas (PENANCE) and got a boon from Brahma that none but humans could kill him. Empowered by this boon, he took away Lanka and Pushpaka Vimana from his cousin Kubera, conquered many regions with the help of his family and even subjugated the devas.
Marching north he reached Kailasa and threatened Nandi that he would throw Kailasa away with Siva. To carry out this threat he put his hands under the mountain, but Siva put his toe down, trapping Ravana’s hands under the Kailasa. His fingers painfully caught, Dashanana then sang songs praising Siva so loudly, that Siva gave him the name Ravana (which means crying or roaring) and the sword Chandrahasa.
Puffed up by his success, powers and boons, Ravana turned into a bully, serial rapist and eve- teaser, misbehaving even with gods and rishis, earning eighteen curses in the process. It is because of these curses, that some of his atrocities are still known and remembered.
      The many rapes by Ravana
When Ravana molested Vedavati who was engaged in penance to obtain Madhava as husband, she cursed that he and his family would be ruined by Lord Narayana on her account. Since he no longer feared gods because of the boon from Brahma, Ravana went on with his depredations. He raped Madanamanjari, wife of Rtuvarman, a tapasvi of Marutta forest, who cursed then that Ravana would be killed by a man.
Finally, he raped his own would-be daughter-in-law, Rambha, betrothed to be wife of his nephew ‘Nalakubara’ s/o Kubera. Furious at this, Nalakubara pronounced this curse
“You, who have become blind with lust, shall not touch a woman who does not reciprocate your love. If you do so your head will be split into seven pieces.”
It is this curse that later kept Sitadevi and many other chaste women safe from Ravana’s depredations, although they still were victim to molestation and insults by him. After this curse, Ravana resorted molestations, humiliation and abductions to cater to his lust, but never committed a rape again.
      Rape, Rakshasas and Human Civilization
Rape is a part of Rakshasa culture, and ‘marriage by rape’ is known as ‘rakshasa vivaha’ to the Hindus. Ramayana, which is a story of the destruction of Ravana, is an eternal reminder that rape can have no place in human culture, and that the culture of rapists is bound to be destroyed by divine forces.
      Molestations of women by Ravana
Ravana tried to humiliate Punjikadevi, the daughter of Brahma, who reiterated the curse of Nalakubara that he would die with all his ten heads broken if he touched unwilling women. By way of revenge, Ravana took to molesting and misbehaving with women in the presence of their helpless relatives. He humiliated Svahadevi, in the presence of Agni, earning Agni’s curse. When he molested Dvaipayana’s sister in the presence of Dvaipayana, the latter cursed him with humiliation by monkeys. Similar curses were pronounced when he molested Atri’s wife in his presence, and he misbehaved with and humiliated brahmin girls who were bathing in the sea, in the very presence of their mothers.
Once Ravana tried to catch Sulekhadevi, the daughter of Brihaspati after conquering Devaloka. Then Brhaspati cursed that Ravana would die hit by the arrows of Rama.
      Some other atrocities of Ravana
Ravana committed innumerable atrocities, some of which are remembered only because of the curses that they fetched him.
He kicked Astavakra, the sage with eight hunches, saying ‘Oh ! handsome fellow ! I shall cure your eight hunches”. This earned him the curse of the sage: “For kicking me, a poor innocent sage, you will be kicked from head to foot and foot to head by monkeys.”
Knowing his perverse proclivities, Vasistha turned down his invitation to teach him Vedas. Owing to this, Vasishsta was imprisoned until the solar King Kuvalayasva rescued him. Vasishta then predicted that Ravana and his family would be destroyed by those born in the solar dynasty.
When Narada refused to explain the meaning of ‘Om’ to him, he threatened to cut off Sri Narada’s tongue, earning the curse, that all his ten heads would be cut off by a man.
Maharsi Maudgalya was once doing the svastika asana, resting his neck on the yogadanda. Seeing him thus, Ravana cut the yogadanda into two with chandrahasa sword. The rishi fell and broke his backbone. This earned Ravana the curse that the chandrahasa (given to him by Siva) would become ineffective.
Once Ravana invited a Vedic brahmin to install the idol of Tripurasundari given to him by Siva. For being late, the brahmin was imprisoned for seven days. This earned him the curse that he would be imprisoned for seven months by a man.
King Anaranya of the solar dynasty sought shelter with him. In our culture, one who takes refuge with us is protected, but Ravana killed Anaranya with a blow on the chest. The dying king cursed him that he would die from the arrows of a prince of the solar dynasty.
Sage Dattatreya had collected water which he consecrated with mantras, in order to bathe the head of his Guru. When Ravana saw this water, he poured it on his own head. Dattatreya cursed him that his head would be polluted by the feet of monkeys.
      Conclusion
It can be seen from the above that Ravana was not an admirable character, in spite of his boons, lineage, royal power and worldly success. He was a serial rapist and tormentor of the weak. Leftists are promoting the worship of such a person by deceiving the Indian masses. Their real aim is to foster divisions among us, to degrade our values and destroy our culture.

His story of Jaya and Vijaya is slightly wrong,Jaya and Vijaya are cursed by sanathkumaras themselves not Durvasa Maharshi, the Durvasa Maharshi story is that of Hanuman bring instructed by Ram to not let anyone in bcos Yama comes to let Ram know that his avatar has come to end and it's time to return to vaikunta.

When Ram is playing A human then why worship a human?? As we worship Shiva Because he is Supreme Being

@@python5827 Ram had to play a human because of Ravana's boon which protected him from

      2.Kinneras

he either forgot to mention Humans or he was arrogant enough to miss it deliberately, hence Vishnu had to take an Avatar of Ram who was a human, when it comes to Hanuman's devotion it's actually an axis and an understanding between Shiva and Vishnu, it's Vishnu's primary duty to take an avatar in each yuga to curtail evil and it's Shiva's duty to help Vishnu do that, only a being with an utmost devotion to his lord can achieve extraordinary feats and mind you Hanuman is Rudra which is one of Shiva's component Hanuman is so powerful that even gods feared his strength ,hence his unwavering devotion is what reminded him of his duty and kept him in check, every human has some divinity in him so nothing wrong in worshipping a human being.

Why you all guys just say ram or ravan and other names like they are written in our text in our language instead of pronouncing it as Rama and Ravana .
If we don't pronounce it correctly then how can we expect other countries' people to do so ?

Everyone one is here to believe that one jumped over the sea..and he lifted the mountain..one can have ten heads in one body..one can sustain in the fire pit if she is pure..bla bla...so i can understand one thing. Now i can write anything in a book and if i manage to win the support of ruling kingdom and made them to preserve my work, someone is going to believe it in the future..so cool yaa. May be you will read someone has the power to change the time and someone gave birth to 1000 children by chewing a bubblecum.
