I remember someone who had met her in the past, an older person I used to talk to a lot telling me when I was really young, that Elizabeth Taylor shaved her face long before others started dermaplane or anything because make up went on smoother and it helped get rid of dead cells . I started shaving my face also after I heard this. It appears to be true as long as you continue doing it.
It’s true as a 33years young woman I been shaving my face since my early 20’s for this very reason and oddly enough never knew this fact about Elizabeth Taylor
I shave my face for special occasions and totally agree, makeup lays on so much smoother!
My favorite movie she was in was when she was in Little Women she was a great actress 😮I always wanted her White Diamond perfume when I was a teen 😂🎉

I love Gardenia but I had a bottle of Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia and it always seemed too strong no matter how lightly I applied it. I much prefer Island Gardenia. My moms signature fragrance is Elizabeth Taylor's White Diamonds so it's a very nostalgic and comforting fragrance to me❤️

Great video. I remember Cher being the first celebrity with her own perfume. It was sort of treated like a joke since celebrity perfumes hadn't been done other than maybe someone famous like Joan Collins promoting 'Scoundrel' perfume for Revlon(?) and Jaclyn Smith promoting Max Factor perfumes and cosmetics. I don't think it sold that well. So when Elizabeth Taylor came out with her own perfume, even though she was Elizabeth Taylor, I wondered at the time if it would be a hit. Of course it was, probably much to the chagrin of Cher. The bottle was so beautiful, so that helped. Elizabeth Arden company knew they had to create something spectacular after Cher's perfume bomb. I do see in stores Cher's perfumes, so she hasn't given up.
