My father was stationed in Weathersfield in 1964 and I remember it so well. I just loved England.

In July 2023, Wethersfield became an asylum centre, housing 1700 fighting age men, rising to 4000 in the next few years. The runway and best buildings should have been sold off and made into an aviation centre and air museum. The rest of the land should have been returned to the neighbouring farms. With government schemes available for rewilding, the farmers could have used their best newly acquired land for growing cereals, and the worse land for conservation and rewilding. We always make a hash of things in England, just look at how we've fallen! We're the laughing stock of the world now!
