I'm also on team T238 now, cheaper and I'm told they have a better speed controller on the back! Adds one step for installing helical pinions, desoldering the capacitor, but they feel much nicer.
guy sent the grip with a permanently fixed adjustment screw >:( luckily for him it was the perfect height, until i took the armature apart... What would you use to fill in the air gap in the pinion?
@@j-airsoft I just dip the tip of the armature in red loctite so the pinion has some extra adhesive. I've never had one come off accidentally but I can still muscle them with the pinion puller if necessary. The spirals sit snug af on there anyways as I'm sure you know
@@jhqtech got some 648 i used to press fit the axle in the armature, just assumed the stuff likes full circle coverage, and JB weld's tensile strength is rated higher so i when with it first, I'll give it a try on the next one i do!
wait i totally accidentally cut out the part where i put the motor back together and actually test it???
warheads tabs are RIDICULOUSLY thin. i used warhead a couple times, then switched to T238 and had such a better experience.
