I have this model as a Forest River. We overpaid for it but won't ever lose money. This summer it gets new plank floor, for sure trim on the countertops, maybe new countertops, water tank and fridge removal, rotating the middle bench to become a gaucho and some electrical updates.
@@arizona_aprilSeven kids later we Glamp in a 30ft bunk house. We had three Pop-ups over the years. A Dutchman Dock,Coleman Cheyenne, and Jayco 1206. Tons of fun.
@@andrewseamans1419 The Coleman pop ups are nice too! My brother actually has one of those! Hey man, after years of “rough” camping we all deserve some luxury 😉
you def. got a deal. We just got the same basic camper but its probably the next size bigger and a 2004 it has the cassette toilet and shower stall king and queen bed slide outs, they had never used the stove, hooked up water or used the furnace or toilet/shower stall. everything works perfectly and the a/c blows a cool 40 deg we paid 2000 for it and that was a great deal.
That is an awesome deal! Especially with an air conditioner and the cassette toilet! Good deal for you too! Now days I think some people are over pricing piece of junk trailers but the one you got sounds like you got a great deal!
There are lift arm supports that are needed, that I don't see on your video. If they are missing, you should order a pair. You put them on opposing corners to prevent room dropping.
Can you clarify which legs support vertically? We have same canopy, one pair have small feet with holes and one pair have rounded black plastic ends. The loops you slid your horizontal ones in are gone on ours.
So I believe the feet with the holes are what will be on the ground that way you can put a tent stake in the hole to keep the awning from blowing up. The pair with the black ends should extend and push against the trailer and hold in either a loop at the end. I hope that helps 😅
Just bought 2 pop up campers for $100 a piece. A Rockwood and a StarCraft. Everything is in good shape. The StarCraft has a couple of mouse chew holes, but everything is in great shape. The Rockwood has a couple of cable issues, but that is easy to fix. Will be using them for guest quarters on my new 40 acres homestead.

I love it. You're so lucky to get it. Happy camping
Nice work! My wife and I had fixed up a few Popup Campers over the years. Adventure awaits! Best of luck.
Thank you! That is great! Do y’all camp anymore?

Nice vido, glad you like your camper and hope it serves you well... FYI... a "wench" and a "winch" are two very very different things!
Yeah I know 🤣😂
We had a tent trailer for a few years. Ne er again. Good luck.

This is great low maintenance durable camper. Good sturdy vintage pop-up.
There countless videos you should watch for things like awning set up and other functions.
I'd just place camper/trailer under a shelter tent to protect against Sun and Rain would give you more shade for a cooking space.

Yes we ended up finding all of the parts for our awning 😃 works great! Thanks!

Careful with the awning,it was raining one time we sat underneath of it,out of no where wind picked up and destroyed the awning
Love it ❤❤❤❤❤.

We replaced the tires! Definitely did not want to deal with dry rotted tires in this Arizona heat! 😂
