    I'm ready to leave America for China too. Most American's have a 1970's idea what China is and don't know about the high-speed trains and the safe a clean mega cities.
    Should China inform with tourist ads? or staying in the background and just zoom by USA living happiness/economy rate, and now America becomes #2 by surprise.

      China is willing to inform in any way, but as you know, some countries are unwilling to see China expand its influence, so they will take various methods to stop China.

    • @tonysofla
      @tonysofla ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@hhjk9901 But I was thinking from a strategic point, maybe China shouldn't? Say TV ads where people don't opt-in what to see and learn, after these ignorant people learn what China really is in 2023 they will demand that USA improve and compete. Though USA don't have the funds or polical unity to even do that anyway, so it doesn't matter?

    • @Lobstersaladyum
      @Lobstersaladyum ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tonysofla Unfortunately no matter what China does they will always be demonized & portrayed negatively in the US/west. Remember there is $500 mil media fund to badmouth China and literally every corporate msm is more or less controlled by the US state. It's people like yourselves who are open minded & managed to avoid being propagandized & see beyond the bs. Good for you mate.

    Just discovered you videos and give you top marks. Spent much of my working life in Asia and honestly feel safer and more comfortable (excluding crowds) than in western cities. I look into the background to see how people really live. Please tell your viewers there were no secret police following you, no graffiti or garbage in the streets and you didn't edit in blue skies in Shanghai. Thank you.

    Each country population has it's own values and it's important to understand and respect them. I'm glad you mentioned it here. To live in harmony is to try and blend in and not trying to enforce others with our own. Once we learn to respect and blend in, any cities or town or countryside can be a revealing discovery.

    I love how you ran around that beautiful garden and played "hide and seek" in that pagoda and literally found each other, after talking about the need to learn to communicate and essentially rediscover each other in a strange but enticing environment. The fact that this all took place in a gorgeous garden sealed the deft metaphor of two lovers running free in a beautiful land to find themselves and each other.

    I really love your soothingly styled vlogs. It's great to see you took on the challenge, and it appears your family is settling in nicely in Shanghai. I'd say not only your marriage has changed, but your children now have the opportunity to experience a totally different culture, people, lifestyle, food, language, etc. Unfortunately, the US government has labeled China a systemic rival with lots of political conflicts and debates. But China has been growing and developing so fast in the past few decades that it will be really beneficial for your kids to take an international education, learn from China's success and various perspectives, form a global view, and become world citizens in the future.
