    You represent many women who have trouble area's but can love yourself and your hair enough to look amazing regaurdless. I apperciate that because that's what it's all about, not running out to get a weave or wig. Im not down talking that move, but we have to learn how to work with what God gave us and love that too.

Girl you are so right. this method is so much better and allows the entire look to remain curly. Thank God for you. You are awesome. I tried this method and it is gorgeous. Your hair is gorgeous. Kimberly, thank you so much for being brave and wise enough to share this video. I have dealt with thin edges since childhood. I wore my hair long and always style to cover my edges. I recently went natural, which I love wearing it short. This video enables me to confidently wear my short natural hair. You are an answer to a pray. I even purchused the gel, which works perfectly. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

    I am growing out my Sisterlocs (before I cut them out) and unfortunately my hair thinned on my edges and I got a bald spot in the process. I have been so scared to cut due to this spot and it’s taking forever to grow back. When I do cut, I now feel comfortable that I will still be able to wear my TWA with confidence! Thanks so much!!!
    I’m going to try this technique tonight!

    I liked your hair before you sponged it, it looked thicker. just smooth down your side and you would have been good to go.

  • @toni5810
    @toni5810 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Did you put the gel on your hair while it was dry or damp? Also, was your hair still wet/damp at the end with makeup? It looks so moisturized and shiny!

    • @KimberlyElese
      @KimberlyElese  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was damp. At the end of the video it was dry. The Big Poppa gel by the Doux is so moisturizing, and it makes my hair shiny. I love that gel!

    Very beautiful and well done. I am new to the curl scene using the sponge. What covering do I put on my head at bedtime? Do I need to add more product to my hair in the morning to refresh the curls. Do I add pressure for the straight hair bc it takes a long time trying to get it curled and using more product.

    • @KimberlyElese
      @KimberlyElese  ปีที่แล้ว

      I sleep with a satin bonnet. I reactivate the product in the morning by spraying water on the hair. I don't apply too much pressure. Just enough to catch the hair you start coiling it. About midweek, I usually add more product. Hope this helps! Thanks ❤️

    Thank you for this video. It definitely helped me. I tried to use that sponge today but my knees and shoulders got tired. My look was fuzzy and sticking up in the topl. I used the foam bc the gel causes itching. Is there a specific motion to using the sponge to get curls to form on straight hair?

    • @KimberlyElese
      @KimberlyElese  ปีที่แล้ว

      When I use the sponge, I use my right hand and coil the hair to the right all over my head. Hope this helps! Thanks ❤️
