I agree because my hair is 4c & I used the exact same products & same step but mine wouldn’t do anything & her hair looks like it curls up as soon as she puts the stuff on it.

Someone mentioned your hair has to be short or blow dried- if you have 4c hair there are no curls to form- there’s zigzag spirals so blow drying then using styling products won’t do anything
Beautiful, beautiful! I use to style my hair like this. Now it is too long. The activator is the best with some gel. I don't like crunchy hair. The mixture works best for me.
@@KiKiCarr I use a honey hydrate leave in conditioner by, curl activator, The Doux Big Poppa and Mousse Def, Eco Styler, and Extreme wetline gel. I switch up between the gels but the honey and water is always my base before the gels. Sometimes I just do Mousse and honey, but I do do a twist up for nighttime for more curl/wavy definition and to last longer in between washes. Sometimes I can just do water for a textured look. I am 4C.
