It is for everybody. Where this lukewarm concept come from how where we pick and choose where we want the truth to come from. Same thing he’s doing now, Jesus Christ did JUST like that in Matt. 23.
If you're born again, you're not a hypocrite or a sinner. A sinner is someone who practices sin as a lifestyle with no remorse. Being born again doesn't mean you'll never sin. It's not about pleasing God with perfection. It's about knowing Him and knowing that His grace is there to help you get back up and try again to live a life that's an example for others and wanting to live a life that pleases Him because you love Him, not because He's condemning you.

Works cannot save us. It is grace through faith in Christ alone. But, once we claim to have faith in Christ, the evidence of faith is a changed life, turning from dead works to practicing righteousness, what is right. Therefore, he is exactly right, faith without works is dead. AMEN!!!
…good brother, I understand your point over all… but quoting James chapter 2 concerning works is wrong division… James 1:1 states who he writing too (the twelve tribes scattered Jews during the great persecution) Paul is the apostle of the gentiles and writes to us gentiles during this dispensation of the grace of God (Rom 11:13 and Eph 3:1-3) Rom 4:4 and 11:6 tells us you can’t have it both ways….(grace and works) Paul is our apostle in this dispensation of grace which we live in today James is writing to Jews under the law (check James 2:10 and Acts 22:18-20, Gal 2:9) James was a law keeping Jew and he is very zealous about the law and the works that came with it…. Paul said our good works are profitable to man which we should maintain (Titus 3:8) but thats not the bases of our salvation… Its by the faith of Jesus Christ and faith in his finished work concerning his death, burial and resurrection which is the gospel of our salvation (1 Cor 15:1-4) Eternal life is a free gift that can not be earned by our lifestyle/works, if it where Christ died in vain (Gal 2:21) My lifestyle and works are secondary to what Christ did for me what I could not do by in my own effort… God has blessed!!!…
But the works matter to the claim to be Christian. The scripture about our faith vs works are constantly taking out of context. You have to do what God says or else. Bottomline

Crazy because at one time i was going to 3 different churches, serving while living a life of sin. But the Lord was patient with me as 2 Peter 3:9 talks about! He allowed me the time to be truly saved and receive His grace! Had a hunger for Him, graduated seminary and began to seek Him in all things! 14 years later I’m married with 3 beautiful babies! @@demetrispastordflame515 it reminded me of the grace and patience of Our Father! Grew up in the church but was far from Him, went off to school and got further away. Crazy because at one time i was going to 3 different churches, serving while living a life of sin. But the Lord was patient with me as 2 Peter 3:9 talks about! He allowed me the time to be truly saved and receive His grace! Had a hunger for Him, graduated seminary and began to seek Him in all things! 14 years later I’m married with 3 beautiful babies! I wished pastors would’ve sat me down, or preached messages like this when I was waving my little dirty hands lol! So that I would’ve known my worship was vain! But i know now!

No woman seriously thinks like that anyway. "But he lays pipe so good"??? Oh please. A man who believes we think like that - like a pornographic caricature - is out of touch with reality.
But if we point it out, these "men of God" at best ignore us or at worst wield the Scriptures against us.
Don't get me wrong. I will sit patiently while they heap burning coals on their heads, because I have to have faith that my obedience will prove itself worthwhile. If not in this life, then in eternity. I trust that there's a reason God allows this, and that his mercy is a net still catching many fish.
