Great question! There's a difference between accepting/understanding principles (weither biblical or not) and accepting that you're following those principles through Christ and what he did on the cross. I'm working through it tho. So, if you're a believer, pray for me and anyone else who is still on the fence about following biblical principles through the belief in Christ and what he did on the cross. Rather than simply following principles and believing that there are multiple ways to good moral character. Also, there's a death to self that must occur before you decide to follow Christ (the rich young ruler). So while I can understand it and agree with it... I still need to make a choice on whether to believe in Christ by first dying to myself (fleshly/worldly desires and fears). So that I can be ready to be persecuted like Christ was for the good that he did and find glory, joy, and peace in that. Most pastors don't give you that choice because they're like cheap christian salesmen looking to build a following for themselves (most of the time.) This pastor here doesn't seem to be interested in that sort of thing which is really refreshing to see.
@acemagnificentj lastly, unfortunately, you can't suffer a sacrifice for anyone. This means that you can only point people to Christ with your own examples and by leading your own life through it and by offering Christ as a solution by spreading the good news... don't be the guy arguing for someone to workout and exercise (even if it's good for them) when they themselves haven't made the choice and the decision first.. that fitness is a solution to them. Because you're not the one who's gonna suffer through that workout for them. And you're simply selling them on your own ideas rather than being an option (which if you read the bible cover to cover God never "influenced" anyone to follow him... he said the truth and then gave them a choice). Having an option through knowing and believing the truth is a beautiful thing. Don't argue anyone into anything because then, they can be argued out of it

REMEMBER though, the Holy Spirit has a way of helping, sometimes just a confession and an opening of the heart to allow Him in is all that's needed. God led me to this today. He knew exactly what I needed to hear and it led me to repentance. The way that I cried out to God for help to recognize my sin, mercy, and to give me a hatred for sin… I have never done before. This was amazing!
This might sound crazy but I am just really tired of taking advantage of Gods grace. So when he said “You Can Do This” I CRIED INSIDE! Because I convict myself for every little thing and I consistently keep falling into sin. But to see all of these comments and see others struggling but constantly going back to God gives me so much hope to keep trying. I listened to him on the Perry’s podcast and I was so convicted about how I had not been faithful to God in some areas of my life. Since that day, I repented and now I have been getting up at 4:30 in the morning to get in God’s Word and pray. I have been intentional about it. Pastor Phillip spoke about discipline. He said he isn’t a disciplined person by nature, but he has become disciplined because he likes the results of discipline. I took that and ran with it. God used this vessel to shake me out of my stupor! God bless him.❤️

I believe the true issue isn't once saved always saved, its the Idea that you say a little prayer and you're good to go! When a prayer doesn't save you. I believe a person that "says a prayer" but never truly repented isn't saved. I also believe that a person who truly did repent of their sin, and put their faith and trust in Jesus will always be saved and there will be evidence "fruit" in their lives to indicate that. You cant live in sin, have no conviction or chastisement from God come into your life, and seriously think that you're saved.

I am just seeing this man of God online. I’ve had so many issues with narcissistic preachers over pulpits, controlling women and young people’ in the church. I have decided to release them because I have been raised in an apostolic legalism doctrine and decided to take the love of God and truth to the streets in my community. I am running for city council a non-partisan election in my local city. I am treated as an underdog to the point so many blockages came my way to keep me from winning. I am currently in second place, but will not know if I win until tomorrow. No matter what the outcome I will continue to minister the word and I’m grateful for this man of God to know that there’s some real men out there who will raised up a standard. I pray that men like this come forth because the more they submit their lives to God, the better off, it would be for women to have Godly marriages in their homes.

Great question! There's a difference between accepting/understanding principles (weither biblical or not) and accepting that you're following those principles through Christ and what he did on the cross. I'm working through it tho. So, if you're a believer, pray for me and anyone else who is still on the fence about following biblical principles through the belief in Christ and what he did on the cross. Rather than simply following principles and believing that there are multiple ways to good moral character. Also, there's a death to self that must occur before you decide to follow Christ (the rich young ruler). So while I can understand it and agree with it... I still need to make a choice on whether to believe in Christ by first dying to myself (fleshly/worldly desires and fears). So that I can be ready to be persecuted like Christ was for the good that he did and find glory, joy, and peace in that. Most pastors don't give you that choice because they're like cheap christian salesmen looking to build a following for themselves (most of the time.) This pastor here doesn't seem to be interested in that sort of thing which is really refreshing to see.
@acemagnificentj lastly, unfortunately, you can't suffer a sacrifice for anyone. This means that you can only point people to Christ with your own examples and by leading your own life through it and by offering Christ as a solution by spreading the good news... don't be the guy arguing for someone to workout and exercise (even if it's good for them) when they themselves haven't made the choice and the decision first.. that fitness is a solution to them. Because you're not the one who's gonna suffer through that workout for them. And you're simply selling them on your own ideas rather than being an option (which if you read the bible cover to cover God never "influenced" anyone to follow him... he said the truth and then gave them a choice). Having an option through knowing and believing the truth is a beautiful thing. Don't argue anyone into anything because then, they can be argued out of it

REMEMBER though, the Holy Spirit has a way of helping, sometimes just a confession and an opening of the heart to allow Him in is all that's needed. ITS NOT A MATTER of our own will but the Will of the Father... If you are bold enough start the conversation with Him in your heart and see if He responds and begins a work in you ... either way I'm delighted to see you're here and I can sense a true sense of openness from you to see what God has in store for you. This message is what is lacking in pulpits today. Too many times, sin is sugar-coated. We are made to feel comfortable instead of developing a holy hatred; this preaching is very rare. I sensed a return to biblical preaching that produces disciples. Herald the truth brother, even if you stand alone! What a breath of fresh air in ATLANTA!!!!

God led me to this today. He knew exactly what I needed to hear and it led me to repentance. The way that I cried out to God for help to recognize my sin, mercy, and to give me a hatred for sin… I have never done before. This was amazing!

This might sound crazy but I am just really tired of taking advantage of Gods grace. So when he said “You Can Do This” I CRIED INSIDE! Because I convict myself for every little thing and I consistently keep falling into sin. But to see all of these comments and see others struggling but constantly going back to God gives me so much hope to keep trying. So thank you to everyone seriously for showing me that I am not alone in this same repeating cycle.

I listened to him on the Perry’s podcast and I was so convicted about how I had not been faithful to God in some areas of my life. Since that day, I repented and now I have been getting up at 4:30 in the morning to get in God’s Word and pray. I have been intentional about it. Pastor Phillip spoke about discipline. He said he isn’t a disciplined person by nature, but he has become disciplined because he likes the results of discipline. I took that and ran with it. God used this vessel to shake me out of my stupor! God bless him.❤️

I’m struggling with my wife of 14 years. She’s an undiagnosed extreme narcissist we have 3 children. It’s a daily struggle. Most days all I have is God. I need help she needs help but doesn’t see anything wrong with her behavior btw possible infidelity. Kids see all of what is going on. Pray over all this. We need help. A God size miracle.

I believe the true issue isn't once saved always saved, its the Idea that you say a little prayer and you're good to go! When a prayer doesn't save you. I believe a person that "says a prayer" but never truly repented isn't saved.
I also believe that a person who truly did repent of their sin, and put their faith and trust in Jesus will always be saved and there will be evidence "fruit" in their lives to indicate that.
You cant live in sin, have no conviction or chastisement from God come into your life, and seriously think that you're saved.

I've been seeing clips of this man on Insta, Facebook, and Tik-Tok for the past month or so... and I don't wanna lie, I was starting to get irritated cause he's always shouting in those clips. However, I just came across this sermon now on TH-cam, and I figured lemme listen. And Maaaannn! I get why this message had to be delivered the way it was; and I get why God chose Pastor Philip to deliver it. It takes a real one to acknowledge messages like this one, but even more, it takes a bold individual to be able to deliver it. I read Matthew 18 with extreme conviction. Now that it's clear to me, it's even harder to just mosey on about my day. I need to pray, I need to read my word, I need to seek God's face like I need water and bread. I can't do any of this on my own and it's more real to me than it's ever been in my life. there is a profound thing that happens when you read the bible more than 3 times a week. i know it sounds funny to say, and forsure a weird stat. i heard it on a channel called daily dose of wisdom. since i have done this , it makes putting on the armor of god so easy .i am a baby in christ and 39. ex herion addict and the things jesus is doing in my life are beyond anything i would have ever thought was possible for me. my faith and the strength of it once i started to seek him in the word regularly is AMAZING. i have bad adhd so some days i basrley get throught 2 chapters. but i push and stay obdient. i now read daily and it is making my ever growing testimony so much stronger and all glory to jesus. PRAISE JESUS
Keep.pushing through that Word. I bind that ADHD in the name of Jesus!

I am just seeing this man of God online. I’ve had so many issues with narcissistic preachers over pulpits, controlling women and young people’ in the church. I have decided to release them because I have been raised in an apostolic legalism doctrine and decided to take the love of God and truth to the streets in my community. I am running for city council a non-partisan election in my local city. I am treated as an underdog to the point so many blockages came my way to keep me from winning. I am currently in second place, but will not know if I win until tomorrow. No matter what the outcome I will continue to minister the word and I’m grateful for this man of God to know that there’s some real men out there who will raised up a standard. I pray that men like this come forth because the more they submit their lives to God, the better off, it would be for women to have Godly marriages in their homes.
