Why do people feel the need to have negative comments? If you’re not a professional or don’t like how he’s doing things, then don’t watch. Keep up the good work 😊
An occasional brush up wouldn’t have hurt but luckily I always rinse down at the end of every job so that anything that gets dirty is left as clean as it was before I arrived 😁
Don’t worry I did rinse all of the area down so it wasn’t covered in all of the filth after I was finished! But yeah I could have utilised my brush a lot more. Thank you for the comment!
Thank you for tackling this patio in a difficult condition, it can be heartening to see hope for renewal. Also, thank you for the many extra hours you spent editing, as you dealt with corruption problems. Thanks to you, I'm seeing the first tulips of the year, off to one side, in a pot. We just had three inches of snow overnight. All cleaned, this patio will accent the yard, which seems to have a good gardener with interesting projects. Do you ever use a blower, to move out water from low or stuck areas? You did a great job of improvement and nice to hear you will be repairing the pointing.
Thank you for appreciating the extra hours I put into this to get it right! I’m glad. I did use the blower during the video, but I do utilise the leaf blower quite a lot off camera! Thank you sir, the pointing completed the transformation 😁
It would be beneficial for your lungs if you get yourself a mask as that Hypo is no joke. I suggest JSP FORCE 8 HALF MASK WITHOUT FILTERS and JSP FORCE 8 PRESS-TO-CHECK COMBINATION CARTRIDGES ABEK1P3 2 PACK. Are you using a surfactant with the Hypo.
This patio is so bad it is to the point of being gruesome! You are braver than me to tackle it, much better result than I expected, great result for sure!
I understand your point however the customer wanted the moss and muck to act as a compost on the surrounding area - if this wasn’t the case then I would’ve shovelled and cleaned up more 😁
@@ExteriorCleaningUK I'll need to give that a bash, I have an Indian sandstone patio to clean tomorrow and 4000 psi seems a bit much for the resin like black pointing you see on a lot of it. I much prefer sand and cement pointing as it's a lot more resistant to pressure.
That’s nuts how dirty that was . Makes you wonder why ppl let there stuff get so dirty. I have washed some bed ones to something very satisfying about it
As I said in the video, I was going back the next day to repoint the patio so in order to get as much of the moss and muck out of the joints, so it was easier for me to repoint them, I focused on them first before cleaning the rest of the slab 👍
Youve made mistakes . Your intro didnt explain if the client wanted their beds and grass covered in moss and grime ? ... Use a surfice cleaner and not a laser in this case and sweep off as you go !
Unfortunately you are wrong. I made no mistakes at all. As described and shown in the video I used a turbo nozzle to remove the old pointing as I was repointing the patio, and as the surface was so uneven I cannot use a FLAT surface cleaner. And at the end of the video you can see everything all clean and rinsed down. Customer wanted the moss and grime in the borders to act as compost. Please make sure to listen and watch the whole video before making assumptions. Other than that, have a good Easter

It’s as simple as that! Thank you! 😁
Jeeze Louise it was caked on! Great job mate!❤😊
It really was! Thank you! 😁
wonderful!
Thank you!
Great improvement ❤
Thank you!
Very satisfying to see that dirt coming off 👍👍
Was definitely a good result!
Use the power washer to edge around the patio to help with drainage
The ground around the patio was a tiny bit elevated compared to the patio so it just was a difficult job 😁
Get yourself a mudsucker, great for sucking up pooling water and sludge. Saved me lots of time with poor drainage issues... Good work buddy 👍👍
It is on the shopping list this year ! I do have my gutter vac but a mud sucker would be much more convenient ! Cheers mate! 💪
You should have used a broom at intervals to sweep up some of the moss instead of spraying it on everything in sight!
An occasional brush up wouldn’t have hurt but luckily I always rinse down at the end of every job so that anything that gets dirty is left as clean as it was before I arrived 😁
By 11:13 you should have done a mini rinse down I swept up the muck instead of trying to power through it
Think that may have been a good idea looking back!
I would suggest next time sweep alot of that dirt up so you don't spray everything in mud. Aside from that, wow! Amazing video to watch.

How I wish you can clean the lion statue too😊
I did give them a little tidy off but no hypo treatment😞

I already have one my friend, usually very good at wearing it just on this occasion I was a tad silly. And yes sir
The patio is pretty after you did a fantastic cleaning jo on the patio and walkway.
Thank you! It definitely looks much better!

It was horrific at times, the smell was awful. Thank you for the comment!
Please you need to shovel that mud up in a bucket.if it was my house i would hate that moss/mud on my grass!!
I understand your point however the customer wanted the moss and muck to act as a compost on the surrounding area - if this wasn’t the case then I would’ve shovelled and cleaned up more 😁
These comments! Nice work mate 👍
I know mate! Cheers fella. Hope you’re all good 😁
Hi mate I noticed you have the same machine as me. How do you get the unloader valve knob to turn, it's REALLY stiff.
Hi mate, I can confirm I have tried to do this myself and had no luck so I didn’t bother. Because yes it is REALLY stiff
@@ExteriorCleaningUK So are you just lowering the pressure by turning the revs on the machine down?
@GTX970TI yes sir. Running on 50% revs the last few jobs 😁 - saves a lot of fuel as well

Great job, rather you than me on that one though mate! Bet the clean and rinse down afterwards took about as long as the initial clean!
Thank you Rob! It wasn’t an easy one for sure!
Ye sorry but I would have shovelled all the dirt up hard but awesome job 😎
If the customer didn’t want it in the surrounding area I also would’ve shovelled it all up too! Thank you! 😁
Weres the water coming from buddy?? Always wonderd this lol
The customers tap buddy

It was ridiculously dirty, I’m afraid sometimes people have justifiable reasons as to why. It is lovely when it all comes up so good though!
Enjoyed your video, ignore the negative comments….everyone thinks there’re an expert!
Most wouldn’t know how to work a pressure washer.😂
Thank you! It’s ok it happens 😂
well done you did a fantastic job 👏 😊🏴
Thank you Margaret!
Great job.
Thank you!
That one was pretty nasty. Looks much better.
It was FILTHY ! It smelt like a bog 🤢 but thank you!
Show us it again after the pointing 👍
I’ll make a post with the pictures 👍
Please explain why you go around a slab, then do the center? Why not just go back and forth across the whole patio.
As I said in the video, I was going back the next day to repoint the patio so in order to get as much of the moss and muck out of the joints, so it was easier for me to repoint them, I focused on them first before cleaning the rest of the slab 👍
Is that putting sand back in the gaps buddy?? The pointing I mean?
@@kmwgkmwg9292No. Repointing means he's going to replace the (we call it mortar in the US) cement mixture between the stones.
It will never be clean there is nowhere for the water to drain
Time for hazmat suit.
😂😁
Why don’t you have someone to help you with all that. It’s a lot of work
I have a couple of people who can help me if I need it, this one wasn’t so bad😁

Nice job! Thanks for sharing, maybe get a blower to get rid of standing water at the end? 👊👍🫡
Thank you! You are more than welcome! I am planning on investing in a gutter vac which will take care of it no problems 😁
