- Captain Steve Lassley recently visited the Croswait Customs factory in Wanchese, North Carolina to check on the BADCO 50 build. The details the brothers speak about, plus the descriptions of what this boat is built to do - should not be missed. This boat is a total cumulation of Croswait 3 generations of boat building plus our time on water experience, no details are overlooked and no compromises on performance. Just a rad advanced performance fishing machine built for a singular purpose with the latest in technology.
The new Gameboat is the first Sportfish infused hull in Wanchese, Dare County, North Carolina. With generations of custom boat building heritage in this region, this is an exciting milestone for @croswaitaaron. Other components such as the decks, house, bridge, floor will be Carbon Fiber. This 50 will be a contemporary, mean, high performance machine!
Hull will be coming out of the mold in about 3 weeks. Next is the okoume on bottom and two more layers of glass, then carbon structure for lifting, then stringers, and bulkheads. Once bulkheads are laminated in, it will be pulled out of the mold and completion date will be in 12 months. Tune in to hear more about the history of Croswait Customs and a behind the scenes look at the all new gameboat design for Bad Company's epic billfish ride and world tour.
Molds now done for future hulls with custom interiors for future owners. Contact Croswait for your custom BadCo50.

Great show!
I was a small fiberglass boat builder for years , ………blows my mind !!!!
I absolutely love the fact they are putting fir stringers in that boat. Those guys know how to adapt modern composites with old-school materials for a perfect combo.
That whole area is such a mecca of sportfish history!! Love the vibe
Thank you for sharing this amazing content and documenting this legacy
Incredible. Taking game fishing to a whole new level. Look forward to seeing this beast on the water.
amazing technical marvel of a boat, please make more videos like this throughout the process if possible! I love seeing this stuff, quality content
Built to fish hard.....can't wait to see it all come together!!!
Them boys know how to build a boat! I cant wait to see it completed!
Looks like it’s going to be a bad ass BadCo boat!
Spot on!👊🏻🇺🇸
Hopefully they will fish Pirates Cove or Big Rock with the new boat!!
Can’t wait to see that on the world tour
Ya, I ki da get why u guys, now. Much respect. So much.
Awesome !
Nice deep V hull design. That’s how we build them in Hawaii too.
Big risk for a small business to go all in on this, but epic to see. Best of luck to all and can’t wait to see the finished product. Croswait is going to have one hell of a mold to produce more!!,
Very impressive! I like how the process is so organized. With such a large project I can see how it would be easy to make mistakes. But you guys seem to have it all planned out in great detail. Question...Do you cut your own patterns/moulds in house or is this supplied elsewhere? Great job and I am looking forward to seeing your progress!
Impressive…
Oh Anthony please how you must talk to brad rowe at bluefix boat works nz second to none👌👌
We have. They make an amazing and impressive boat. I wish I can buy them all, this 50 allows us to design what we want from a clean sheet of paper. Also not to be “that guy” on the internet, but I wanted to build it in America.
Tell Dan to get a 3D mouse.
