I brought it to my last shoot. to hold my nanlite 30c... and after lugging it all up two flights of stairs, I'd forgotten the extra nanlite adapter to hold it lol. so.... just used the stand to hold a regular light (no boom) lol what a waste of time (and effort) I'm on board with all u said... although cos of weddings I'm stuck with Sony. but I LOVE the image that comes out of c70. u gotta have that dual gain ALWAYS turned on tho. I heard it's bad without it
Yo, I LOVE the C70. Although I’m now feenin’ for the R5C. 😅 But the C70 is fantastic. I love the built-in ND filters. That’s really spoiled me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Also: I think a travel video would be dope. 👍🏾👍🏾
R5C is a dub. You won’t be disappointed. You will want the, a battery solution, tascam xlr and the meike nd adapter. Cost is about the same as the c70 but you get 8k, full frame, great low light and an R5 photo camera.
I have that Junior boom arm and use it on every shoot. I will say Atomos used mostly as a monitor. You may still have good eye sight. If not, like me you need it. Aperture Spotlight. Did not know how much I would use it until it was in the back of the car ready to go. Great stuff. I would like to see you camera bag, and how you transport all of your gear.

3 words - Quick Release Plates. I mostly film weddings, and to be able to swap between a camera on a monopod, to a gimbal, and even to a 70-200 already on tripod makes for such quick work. Filming a wedding solo really sucks, but it saves so much time. Also the cinepaks diopters are super useful when there's a boring scene (like a bride or groom getting ready in a hotel room). Unfortunately I lost mine after filming 2 weddings.
Honestly, my favorite piece of gear is my SONY ZV-1 point and shoot camera. Lol. It helps me go out and practice filmmaking without the pressure of the normal set and crew, and I’m able to explore ideas and get amazing “85%” results. Great tool for Directors who want to practice directing without distraction or limit. THE BEST. Definitely made me a better filmmaker. Love the video!
I have the ZV-1 too and it's amazing. It's pocket sized and has similar results to its bigger brothers like the a7 and APS-C lines, so I've been able to splice in footage from it at weddings as a sort of C-cam.
