Do these summer programs have any effect on the probability of being accepted into the Academy? Or are these programs used just to hone one's skills in the respective field?

@@yeseniapalacios5354 you can be homeschooled but then it's likely that they will place more emphasis on the standardized score, other factors outside of the home as well as any community or extracurricular work outside of home in those cases.

Do you have to be attending school ? My son its being homeschooled very smart on the mathematics and science.......

@@af_loyd20 no, my son ended up getting into RPI, already finished freshman year going to be a sophomore majoring on mechanical engineering.
