Best boots ever made! I've owned three pairs in my 22 year old life. I always get lots of respect from older guys when they see me wear a pair. The real OGs know what's up!
I only wear Mizuno's and I can 100% agree with everything that Josh says about the brand, it is that good. I have a pair of Wave Ignitus 2 that I got when they first launched and I still wear them regularly and they perform like I just got them 7 years ago.
Some of the best boots I played in over my career weren’t Nike or Adidas. Don’t get me wrong I played the majority of my years in a pair of Tiempos, but Lotto, Diadora, Kelme made great boots back in the day. I know things have changed in the modern world and kids are obsessed with what’s “cool”, but being cool used to mean being different.
I don’t know why people dislike his videos. He does his job and informs us about the boots.🤦♂️I like every video just to support him and because he’s consistent with videos👍
I don’t even play soccer anymore, but I gotta bring this up; Underfoot cushioning is the most important thing when comes to comfort if you play on ag/turf or firm fields. I played college soccer in southern CA and can tell you that after two weeks during the season my insoles would be flattened and it would be like running directly on the hard outsole. Most brands don’t design with this in mind, trying to shave weight with cheap foam inserts. Custom replacement insoles rarely fit the shoe right so that’s not really an option. I know players just deal with this and don’t really think about it, but when UA came out with their charged foam insoles, the comfort was so good it actually improved my distance covered in game. The same problem eventually surfaced as the insole got pounded down, but they did last a bit longer than crap adidas insoles. Bottom line is there’s definitely a business opportunity for replacement insoles specifically for soccer cleats
@@Tidjoz Not really any for a cheap price. Storelli had replacement grip insoles for around 40$. I haven't checked around in a while though, maybe there's something out there.
I have always worn mercurials and recently bought the Mizuno Morelia neo 2 beta just to try something different. They are worth every damn penny. All these soccer boot reviewers are not kidding with how much they hype Mizunos.
Perfect timing, been canvassing for a new leather boot the past few days. This video just made these mizunos number one on my list (puma king dethroned). Wore mizunos in high school and later on a pair of red kleather futsal shoes, best Ive ever played with. Cheers Jomari!
Mizuno is clearly the best choice so go for it! The harder part is choosing which model you go from them! You could like these, Morelia II, Rebula Cup or even the Rebula III. Just pick Made in Japan one.
Mizuno knocking it out the park again. I've always been more into comfort than anything. If I'm not focussing on what's on my feet, I perform better, so squeezing or stiffness just doesn't help. For me a good pair of boots should disappear so I'm focussing solely on the game. Think I might get some of these
Please do a K-leather comparison video. Morellos, Copa, Tiempo, King, etc. Quality of leather ranking, cost, fit/width, weight, etc. I believe that the “traditional style boot” is being pushed out of the market and people don’t see the value.
I just got these for £190, wait till they get discounted as most always end up 50-100 pounds off as not many people buy them. I got my MIJ Neo Beta 3s for £150
Incredibly comfortable straight out of the box. Feel less padded and more natural than the Puma Future 5.1. I went half a size down, they fit like a dream. Great review once again Josh, keep up the amazing work!
They’ve definitely stretched to accommodate my foot shape. They now feel like a pair of slippers. Touch still great of course, can’t detect any deterioration in responsiveness as yet but I imagine that might come in time. Enjoy them!
So Mizuno has the zeros, the Neo 3 beta, the Neo 3, the Rebula cup, and a re-release of the Wave cup in blue, what is a guy to pick? Help Jonah I have a whale of a problem.
Soccer Reviews For You I bought the wave cup off the USA Mizuno website yesterday and did in true to size and half size down bc of your recommendation in 2018, I’m excited to try them as they were so limited, I’ve become Mizuno obsessed bc they all feel so comfortable
Yep, they have plenty of great models currently. First decide if you want more classic style shoe or "speed" boot type. Although all of them are quite light. Then decide do you prefer conical studs or the ones used on Rebula (or even Wave cups). Those should narrow the options a lot.
@Thomas Hancke hi! How is the durabilty of these? And would you say these are better than the puma king? I have the chance to buy them for like 190 bicks
Hi Josh thanks a lot for the review! What is the main difference btw this version and the normal mizuno morelia 2 mij?? And do you think it’s worth spending more money on this? Thanks
Like I describe in the video, the leather has been thinned out slightly and just feels more light and airy. The tongue is also softer, the heel liner is suede instead of synthetic leather, the insole is different, amongst other small tweaks. They're not hugely different from past Morelias but definitely feel the most comfortable of any Morelias that I've ever worn. All of the small tweaks are definitely noticeable.
Hello Josh I have a problem with my Copa 19.4 which I bought 6 months ago I did not have any problems with it. It was pretty comfortable I wore it every single day but whenever I stand on my toes my heel hurts which I never had that that problem with it. I wore it every single day can you help me to improve my fit
Hi Josh. Just saw the video on the Morelia zero... I have a question re comfort. You said that the wave cup legend were the most comfortable boots that you have worn, then came the Morelia zero and said the same thing.... How do these Morelia zero compare to wave cups? I love a rommier toe box and a comfortable boot. I bought a wave cup in my size 9 us and could barely get them on and really squeezed my feet. I feel the wave cups are in the tighter side. One last thing.. are the Morelia 2 mij all kangaroo leather like the zeros or wave cups? Thanks
I know this is more about comfort levels -- and Mizuno fits that mold, so to speak -- but I would love to see more reviews for "off the beaten path" brands.
It's amazing how Mizunos weight almost 130g more than the Copa mundial and they look really good on fit! They have a very modern profile, if they had a modern soleplate I will think is the leather line of some of the actual brands 😎
I guess the solution is to be patient at the moment while saving up for it bit by bit and when the time comes for you to actually buy one, the whole experience of it all would be that much more special! That's what I do, anyway.
Josh, I just bought a pair of wave ignitus 2. What do you think of that purchase? How does the boot stands now a days? Could you make a retro review on them? When thinking of buying I found fairly little information other than the few videos you made back then. How long will it take the mukaiken panel to give me CR7 level knuckleball?
I really like the WI2! They're still solid boots for sure, but a very different style to anything currently available, so it's hard to make a direct comparison.
Can someone please tell me how these differ from the morelli neo 2 and 3? I ordered the size 13 which is my size and I had a whole thumb width between my big toe and the tip. I have a 2e foot width and need help! The new balance futon v5 pros in 2E ARE NOT A TRUE WIDE FIT!!! 😡 Please help!
Awesome review! Really informative, cheers, I'm almost sold, just wondering whether you experienced any bunching of the leather in the midfoot when wearing during playing? Like did you notice any gaps between the sides of your midfoot and the leather because of reduced lockdown compared to a synthetic midfoot type boot? Thanks!
Like I describe in the video, the leather has been thinned out slightly and just feels more light and airy. The tongue is also softer, the heel liner is suede instead of synthetic leather, the insole is different, amongst other small tweaks. So i got myself a pair of ignitus. Of course my freekicks didn't become ronaldo's overnight, but i realized that for an upper full of gimmicks, that boot is ridiculously comfortable! I will never use another football boot again except for Mizuno Morelia MIJ. Well, I am going to try this Morelia Zero. Hehe
Hey bro. From a comfort standpoint, this Mizuno Morelia Zero or any Morelia II MIJ is SIGNIFICANTLY superior to ANY Nike Tiempo legend 1 to 8. I have tried boots from Nike, Adidas, Puma, Lotto, Umbro, Diadora and they all pale in comparison. Let's just say that after a game or training session, I will immediately take off my boots to relax myself. But with the Mizunos, I forget I am wearing football boots and I am never in a hurry to take them off. Feels like leather slippers, really.
Those are really nice boots, but they're also more traditional in terms of their overall construction and materials used. These, despite how they look, have quite a few modern touches and are overall the most refined in this particular category of football boots.
Like I describe in the video, the leather has been thinned out slightly and just feels more light and airy. When are you going to be reviewing the non knit version of the Mizuno Moreilla Neo 3 ? I’ve heard from some friends they prefer the Non Knit Version over the Neo Beta . When supposable I thought they were the same.
CrazyGaspo They said they all got really bad blisters in there heel , which is normal but it’s weird 3/3 of three all got bad blisters in there heel , they went 1/2 a size down like everyone said so that can be it & that they didn’t feel like the lockdown was on par with other speed boots
Josh, I have a question. I live in California where trying kangaroo leather boots on in store is illegal. In this case, which leather boot do you think would fit me the best, meaning it would form to my feet most effectively?
I swear to god i would buy them right now if it wouldnt be for the unececcary long tongue ... im even considering buying them and taking them to a tailor to cut out the extra tongue extension.
I have some mij morelias and I think its worth going half a size down. Tiempos in a 10 are super tight for me, but mizunos are slightly roomier and will stretch more
stretch will depend on the shape of your foot and how much you use these shoes, after heavy use mostly for game days the shoes will get a little wide after a few months. No brake in time needed, as Josh says make sure you get the correct size, I have morelia MIJs.
@@noetorres4598 If im honest I think they would be worth trying on. I find most modern boots fit me exactly true to size, but all my classics morelias, diadora brazils and copa mundials all need half size down
Not to say that the Rebula 3 is uncomfortable, because it isn't, but I personally find these to be a lot more comfortable. Granted, it is a different type of fit and feel.
I personally don’t care for comfort. I place more value on weight and whether the shoes will give me blisters. The weight because i find I am not tired at the end of the game, and blisters bc it will prevent me from playing future games
I think mizuno is the most underrated football boots that I have seen..because majority of the professional footballers wears Only nike, and Adidas. Thus it has become like a traditional
Dear Mr. Joshua Vujovic. I appreciate your review. I hope many of you young footballers will appreciate the benefits of 100% Pure Kangaroo Leather in this review. They're not hugely different from past Morelias but definitely feel the most comfortable of any Morelias that I've ever worn. All of the small tweaks are definitely noticeable.
how do these play on 3G, 4G, AG pitches? thanks
When are you going to be reviewing the non knit version of the Mizuno Moreilla Neo 3 ? I’ve heard from some friends they prefer the Non Knit Version over the Neo Beta . When supposable I thought they were the same.
Still waiting my pair. Video coming hopefully soon!
Soccer Reviews For You Sounds good !! I swear you always respond to my comments spot on 😂👍🏽
Out of curiosity what is their reason for not liking them?
CrazyGaspo They said they all got really bad blisters in there heel , which is normal but it’s weird 3/3 of three all got bad blisters in there heel , they went 1/2 a size down like everyone said so that can be it & that they didn’t feel like the lockdown was on par with other speed boots
@zaca1997 I got some blisters at first also with the betas but they did go away after a couple of times wearing them
I thought Runbird is some kind of Mizuno's technology? But it definitely looks cool
Hey bro I need your help really Badly I want to get the Nike phantom and my regular shoe size is a 10 us should I get that size aswell for the cleats?
Josh these vs Diadora Brasil OG? Which are more comfortable and lighter? Thank you.
These Mizunos 100%! The Diadoras are great, but these Mizunos are seriously some of the nicest boots I've ever had on my feet!
@@Soccerreviewsforyou thank you.
Quite hard to get the size on UK 7.5 at Malaysia. Tho I loved morelia.
Josh, I have a question. I live in California where trying kangaroo leather boots on in store is illegal. In this case, which leather boot do you think would fit me the best, meaning it would form to my feet most effectively?
The Tiempo Legend 8 Pro isn't bad.
I swear to god i would buy them right now if it wouldnt be for the unececcary long tongue ... im even considering buying them and taking them to a tailor to cut out the extra tongue extension.
Why don't you do reviews on Asics football boots anymore?
Thanks for the review! Do you find that Mizuno boots stretch to the point that it might be better to get 1/2 a size down?
That hasn't been my experience. I suppose you could buy them extra tight and they will stretch, but I don't think you need to do that.
I find most modern boots fit me exactly true to size, but all my classics morelias, diadora brazils and copa mundials all need half size down
@@noetorres4598 but I hate any excess room in the toe area
Love these boots.
Thanks for the great review!
I wear copa mundials size US 6.5, what size should I get these boots in?
copas run very large, Morelia MIJ are true to size.
Sizing off of Copas is tricky. I typically wear a size 8US in Copa Mundials but a 9.5US in these.
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Great thank you!
@@Soccerreviewsforyou Do you still have some space when you wear mizunos 9.5us or do they fit really snug?
Have the Rebula 3 MIJ....how much more comfortable is this?
Not to say that the Rebula 3 is uncomfortable, because it isn't, but I personally find these to be a lot more comfortable. Granted, it is a different type of fit and feel.
Rate the old school Nike Tiempos aka the current Nike Premier 2s. Unreal boot.
They're really nice, especially for that price.
Comparison with Diadora Brasil?
I like ur vids
How do these compare to a mizuno morelia 2?
nice, thanks Jacob
I personally don’t care for comfort. I place more value on weight and whether the shoes will give me blisters. The weight because i find I am not tired at the end of the game, and blisters bc it will prevent me from playing future games
i cannot find them anywhere.....still out of stock at least here in Europe, anybody can help?
For me , this was love at first sight...🥰
At my local Nike store, there’s a superfly 6 elite and 2 phantom venom elites, for 105 NZD (70 USD) each, which one should I buy
Try them on and pick whichever one fits and feels the best.
which would you personally pick
Which is better? The runbird or Morelia 2?
The small changes made to these feel like a nice improvement.
I think ive just made my friends like old looking leather boots
you should review the Adidas Copa Mundial!
He has
I wish it was less limited and cheaper, imagine mizunos being mainstream 😍😩
X19.1 or preds 20.1 ? I bought both but wanted to return one of them
X 19.1
Try them on to see what fits and feels the best. Simple.
Soccer Reviews For You durability wise. any preference on which one will last me longer ? or are they both made from excellent material
Looks nice
I think mizuno is the most underrated football boots that I have seen..because majority of the professional footballers wears Only nike, and Adidas. Thus it has become like a traditional
Notification Squad where ya at? (1am in Germany)
I haven’t seen the video and I’m guessing is a mizuno boot review....
Dear Mr. Joshua Vujovic.
I appreciate your review.
I hope many of you young footballers will appreciate the benefits of 100% Pure Kangaroo Leather in this review.
And then, I want many footballers to enjoy this real authentic football boot.
"Tradition does not mean to continue the shape, but to continue the soul and spirit.
And tradition is born by accumulating innovations with the time.
Good things continue to innovate, and that becomes a tradition.
Morelia tradition forever".
Ayy early gang
can u rate boots and test them on the pitch bro
Beautiful.
I'd love to try sum mizunos but their top end boots r expensive asff
So you're saying these won't shred the back of my heels like the rubula v2 mij?
@DeVante Lewis its been 6 wears for me and it hurts every time. Glad the morelias worked for you
You're the man!
⚽️❤💯
class and elegance.
Can u review an ASICS boot
Does it have ACC?
