      How? You guys can’t even agree on one name for what is a minced meat skewer lol
      Kofta, Kofte, Kofta, Koofteh, Kafta, etc MAKE UP YOUR MIND!
      Also stop gate keeping what is just a mid dish, its just meat on a skewer man… it tastes good but its not worth gatekeeeping

    Guys stop complaining about the spices, that it's too hot. There is literally hundreds of videos on foodtube without chilies.. some of us like spicy food, and did you hear what he said? "You can add but you can't take away" make it as spicy as YOU want it.

    • @GetaVe

      In Turkey (called köfte) we make it even more spicy. The only thing I haven't seen before is apricot but I think I'm gonna try it, looks interesting! Btw cayennepeber isn't actually that hot.

      It's not actually Kofta. Kofta is a specific recipe who's spices can be slightly different from one version to the next, but apricot doesn't belong in it at all. Just because it has mince in it doesn't make it Kofta just like any creamy pasta isn't carbonara. That's probably the main issue. Another is his use of the word "literally" when there is no figurative way to express what he's seeing or saying.

    • @vibranium-riprich314
      @vibranium-riprich314 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@robertp457actually, kofta is not a specifc recipe and many countries have their own version of kofta, such as Iran ( koofteh ), arab etc
      And carbonara for example stresses the emulsification of eggs and egg yolks and pecorino. By adding cream or yoghurt you are fundamentally changing the dish. By using different spices for kofta you are not changing anything, just making them to your preference.

  • @lisve
    @lisve 9 ปีที่แล้ว +59

    'Kofta' literally means 'cardigan' in Swedish, so you could say that the lamb kebab is wrapped in a fluffy tortilla cardigan ^^

    Speaking of lamb meat, there's a place here in the States that has the most DELICIOUS lamb meat for.....forgot what they're called, but it came from a Greek restaurant. Last time I remember going there with my mom, I ate the entire thing. :) Good stuff. I don't get to have those lamb things very much (I can't remember if they were wraps, or whatever, but they were tasty though.), but those things are SO freaking awesome. I never knew I could even like lamb, but the last time I went there, it became a favorite. I liked it.

      Berserkism Probably for a very good reason.
      Also consider what kind of dirt and sweat build up might be underneath those rings. I'd prefer not to have someones sweat in my food.
      But, I guess I'm just weird like that.
