Hi Glenn, fellow brick and mortar LCS owner here up in Maine. For my store, Fed Ex is on point - same time every delivery day and sometimes early! When the doors aren't open, my driver calls me to see where I am and I go open the doors. However, UPS is AWFUL. Late more times than not, won't give me priority as a business, tries to deliver after business hours despite repeated attempts at telling them what my schedule is ( and then being asked to repeat my business hours to their customer rep when another late shipment occurs ). A few weeks ago, I was assured my books would be in by 7PM, so I stayed open - no books. Driver just turned around and went home for an unknown reason and said they would try tomorrow. After complaining and calling enough times, they patched me to the dispatch, where they said I could come down and pick up the books at the warehouse 45 minutes away. So I drive down and while I'm there locating my books, they asked if I could deliver items that belong to other people in the same building at the shop, lol. It's a fight with them every week. It's not like I'm located out in the boonies of town - I'm literally a stone's throw away from the main business strip here.
Just finished this vid bc my local comic book shop didn't recieve any of the DC comics either so I'm happy to know what comics are coming in this week!! About to watch your 9/11 vid hopefully you show the comics from last week that you didn't have 😭😭!! And if you didn't show the comics you didn't have last week can you pls make a video on them?
FedEx once lost a rare, discontinued car rim. Two packages were sent with 2 wheels inside each. They managed to lose one and they rewrapped the container before it left their warehouse. They made no effort to recover the item. FedEx is the worst.
Mike Hawthorne’s art in Batman #151 was so subpar I’d planned to skip 152.151 was the last issue in my pull list that I closed at my old LCS, and it’s probably the last issue of Batman I’ll buy until they improve that title. $5 for subpar stories and back up stories I don’t want? No thanks. Jorge Jimenez’s art has been the only thing g keeping me on that book.

Dude, there’s two Conan books-black stone is a mini series…little soon to call their treatment of Conan like how marvel treats Spider-Man, X-Men ect 😂
