I wonder how they didn’t smell anything when they went in for the first time 😩
what is astonishing is he had several days to come up with a good story, yet he provided this lol. Did he not THINK the cops would ask friends and family some questions to collaborate such incredibly out of character thigs such as taking loads of cash, booze, heading of to a casino, oh, and the mysterious couple no one had ever heard of ... was he that deluded he thought the cops would just ask him a few questions, and then go "oh, ok, well off you go then, good luck, they'll probably turn up one day" and leave him to it????
Maybe 😂
I think he really thought it would work. I mean if you watch the whole trial, you will see he had been lying literally for years and never got caught. Classic Narcissist.. he is smarter than everyone. Or so he thought!
@@kokettabrown986 I mean, by this time he is probably believing his own les 🤷
@@racharina Of course he is. Idk if he was crazy before or if his crimes against his parents made him a little nuts, but something isn't right inside him. He is evil
Yes. And just how much does a cut on the foot bleed when you remove a splinter from it??? With tweezers! The cut was lede’s than an inch across and only dropped blood until he removed the splinter? Then it squirted blood with each beat if his heart!! Is there an artery in the bottom of his foot? I think not! Haha!
This lady is not chewing gum, this is the result of stress witch causes the mouth to stop producing saliva the chewing is to try and activate the saliva. I know this too well as I have this embarrassing problem. Once the stress of the moment stops the saliva is right back to normal
Also, no amount of water will help.
Are you sure?
LOL she is chewing gum, it is very obvious! Can not believe an officer would show such disrespect!
Thank you! I couldn't imagine such a professional woman with excellent testimony showing up with gum, even nicotine gum. Your answer makes so much sense.
@@amberleedesigns6331 calm down
I think you may have something there 🤔. I heard no gum smacking or visibly she her shift gum out of the way as she talks. Even during pauses she wasn't chewing. She does seem to be doing what you said. If she is chewing on gum that was the best control I have ever noticed. Lol
The way everything was strewn, he knew that his mom and dad weren't coming back
It should be a rule that unless your near a microphone you can’t speak. Lol.
That deputy's gum is grating on my nerves.
😂😂😂😂
Very unprofessional for the deputy to be chewing gum during her testimony! It’s distracting and not appropriate in court.
He's sunk... She pretty much just insulted everyone's intelligence. She is telling them to find a way to be objective. There is no way... The evidence against him isn't just smoke n mirrors. I can't imagine how he found anyone to defend him.
He is making his parents seem like gambling lushes! He says they took the tools that he used to cut them up.. that's weird. I wonder if he told the deputy that they took one bottle of wine and if that missing bottle of wine is what he took to that guy's house that he went to with Cat and they did fireworks.
Hearing that cop smack her gum in court is infuriating.
We need judge judy, she would make her spit it out and never testify by chewing gum lol
You’re too easily angered. Chill.
@@AntiPlatitude You might be fine hearing and seeing her with the weirdly spelled name smacking away at her gum, but for many it's just rude and quite gross.

I can see how this judge got elected. You just want to put your trust in him. He's so nice.
Shunk is a great detective. You gotta love his distain of Chandler for what he did.
Objection: Hearsay?
Seriously?
Considering the number of times this objection should have been made throughout this trial in the questioning of private citizen witnesses seems disingenuous to make it from law enforcement witnesses.
Cross examination seems like they have nothing. Chandler dang, REALLY? Mom & Dad after they tried to give you everything 😔
I have 5 grown kids. I cant even imagine a child going from maybe a little lazy and someone who may not always be honest, to murder and dismember us. Its not as if Chandler was acting crazy or dangerous, just immature...up until the murder, dismemberment and burning heads in the fireplace. Yikes.
That police woman with the weirdly spelled name is disgusting and rude with her chewing her gum while in the courtroom. Appalling behaviour.
Absolutely outrageous!!
22:57 "Objection, heresay"
😂😂😂 - prosecutor asked him to recall a specific answer to a conversation he had with the victims co workers. A question/ answer that was not ambiguous at all. There is absolutely no heresay.
Honestly the deputy chewing wasn’t that bad, she was an excellent witness
After reading the comments I thought it was going to be torture watching. It was hardly noticeable over all. She kept it to a minimum. Especially compared to many others I've seen from witnesses.
I totally agree with you
Bad manners to do it
The gum chewing was a distraction. And court witness no-no.
I think the chewing was for calming their nerves. Even if they personally didn’t see the traumatic evidence, they’re still dealing with ptsd.
@@lynnemiller3633 gum chewing not allowed. Shame on a civil servant--should know better.
was that female cop actually chewing gum in the courtroom?????
The fact the deputy is chewing gum or not has nothing to do with her testimony,, thankfully the majority of people don’t care
There should be a law that witnesses remove gum. Nothing worse than people chewing gum at best of times but in a courtroom, yuk.
I actually to gum because it helps with anxiety and also some people have dry mouth from medication… That stuff doesn’t bother me
I just posted the same and she is A deputy! She should know better. I am skipping this testimony. 🤮
Tora- I agree it looks tacky and it’s annoying to watch people chewing it on the stand.
Could be nicotine gum.

Btw I’ve made other comments, you are just getting bent out of shape over one- I’m as entitled to an opinion as you. Where I live it wouldn’t be allowed, neither would the sloppy language I see in legal documentation in the States.
Yes I thought I was the only one who noticed! It is very unprofessional!
Iv witnessed consultant doctors chew gum too. I was the patient. The prob was very serious and i just didnt lik the gum
I’ve been painting while I listen to these and I thought I was going nuts hearing it! I was like surely they’re not chompin gum……
Judge sounds like a restaurant host talking with customers as they leave a restaurant, not a judge interacting with a murder trial witness.
He said a FORT ... Lol
Why is she chewing gum. A little respect for the Judge's Courtroom!
Lol

Gum should fall out her mouth when she starts talking
Absolutely dislike hearing her gum chewing.
isn't she just nervous??? police usually aren't allowed to chew gum while in uniform. its very uncommon she seems to be speaking clearly though.
Step one in a missing persons case, check the GPS tracking on their phone.
Thus defense sucks. Tgey arent even trying to poke holes in the story nor are they trying to show flaws in the investigation. What is the defense doing aside sitting on their hands??
thank you.
The defense is grasping at straws so bad, can't say I blame them, they have nothing to work with. But you can't call hearsay on a note that someone read themselves, sorry lady.
I'm thinking it maybe nicotine gum. That's the only reason I could see the judge allowing her to chew it.
70's style home. basement with split level floor plan. would like to see the layout.
The deputy had the phone number and didn't just check GPS tracking on the phones.....
Why do people chew gum on the witness stand? Why would a law enforcement officer chew gum on the witness stand? Why do people chew gum at all?
It's to help nerves.. Some people don't do well with public speaking, and chewing gum calms your mind. She kept the chewing to a minimum, I hardly noticed. It's not uncommon.
I ask myself that everytime I see people chewing like cows in a field.
