Only as good as the team you play. Look what happened to Washington on Thursday night!! They probably went into that game with the mindset easy win and got crushed!! Lions cannot have that mindset.
Good teams beat the teams they're supposed to beat. That been the Lions problem since '89 when I started really following them. They played to the competition.
I’m right there with you. Bryce Young may develop into a great QB but he’s off to a very rough start and I don’t think it will get any easier against the Lions defense
The area of concern I have is if branch can't play are 3rd and 6 or less going to be rough? Also the influx of players coming in, is this going to mess up the flow we have with the defense and offense? Brown says he will be back but if he can't go or has snap limits is our own 3rd down efficiency going to suffer. Carolina might be winless but this is the NFL and losing a possible branch and brown could really make this a tough 4 quarters. Any insight on how the lions battle a possible disruption with jamo and Moseley coming back and the flow of efficiency without brown or branch on both sides of the ball?
Jamo had a whole off-season with Goff. He should know the playback. He's had a month off, but he's been doing his workouts twice a day, and catching 100 balls/day off a jugs machine. If Brown is limited, Jamo will get his looks. Expect to see Gibbs in the slot alot if, Brown can't go.
My best guess is that if St. Brown can't go you'll see a heavy dose of Kalif working out of the slot. They also have Gibbs and LaPorta that they can use in those 3rd and short areas. As for Branch, they fortunately do have Will Harris who is very comfortable in working out of the slot position. Jamo and Moseley will obviously get worked in, but seeing as both of them are getting onto the field for the 1st time in a while I'd keep expectations pretty low for them as they may not get many snaps.

Brian Burns admittedly is a great player but I just don't see him making up for Carolina's erratic and really weak QB play
