- So grateful for the experiences National American Miss has given to me. I guess it’s true when they say, “Third times a charm.” This was my third year on the Louisiana state pageant stage. Twelve year old me would never have believed I would get this far. I pushed myself each year to be better than I was yesterday. I would do my own hair, makeup, and fundraisers. I would work myself so much just to be able to experience a NAM pageant weekend again. With that being said, I walked away from each competition knowing I did the best I can do. I was more confident than ever. I also made a great amount of friends in just three short days. This years group of teens and miss contestants were the sweetest and most supportive group i’ve ever met. They are all winners in my heart.
I would like to thank @amandamorenoconsulting for your amazing public speaking skills. I definitely could not have done this without you. @leanna.lanford for constantly supporting me year after year after year. You are one of the kindest souls I know and i was so blessed to be your successor. And to my family and friends, the endless love and support I receive year after year is so appreciated especially when I am just about to give up. To my new sister queens, i love you all already and can’t wait to rock the year with you

Sometimes the world works out in crazy ways. It took me three years of trying to win, but focus on the experiences because it’s some of the best I’ve had. Best of luck to you. National American Miss changed my life

You will do amazing! I’ve been involved in pageantry for 16 years and have been hooked ever since. Learning to be true to yourself and knowing you will lose some and you will win some is really my motivation to keep going. Remember to just have fun! At the end of the day, you are only competing against yourself. It even took me three years just to place in top 5 at NAM!

How much do you have to pay overall if you get in? :)
$480 is typically the sponsorship fee but on top of that you pay for your wardrobe, hotel, etc. Optionals are a different price. It can get quite pricy but ask local businesses to sponsor you!

I bought my dress! Many of the contestants buy or rent them from companies
What are your tips for winning?❤ and what sorta prize did you get?
Each state ranges depending on your director. It sounds so cliché but never give up! It took my three years and lots of hard work to win in the Teen Division. Stick with it and don’t compare yourself to others; rather focus on your own growth. Most importantly, BE YOURSELF!
