@@PatriotGames Cross shaft steering RHD conversion instead of moving the steering box - What is the deal with ASV using this method now? Was close to signing a contract until i discovered this fact. Are you happy with this conversion in this particular truck?

The white badges should have been left chrome, blacked out or simply taken off Tbh, look a bit backyard painted n tacky.

Would love to have one of these, especially if I could get the 8 foot tub. (Just because with that length, you can build a sleeper down one side and fridges etc on the other. No need to tow anything)

Yep Australia has embraced something that fills a huge gap in our market.
I went to put the money on the table but. We on Australia can't have the limited version in the 2500 or the midnight black out option or factory air bags or full leather seats. I just can't say I like that big grille in chrome. It's also about $10,000 more expensive than a Chev. I am going to hold out until towards the end of 2024 and hope supply options change.
Would you ever look at doing a f250 pcor set up on one of them would be so bloody nice !

My brother just got the longhorns limited 2022 3500 high output 6.7 it's a beautiful truck 1075 lb of torque over 400 HP as well

Really enjoy the Patriot channel, keep up the great work mate. I am also considering a 2500 series truck, doesn't the Ram 2500 only offer about 850kg payload with no option to increase as this is max from the US? For higher payloads one would have to look at the Ram 3500. The Silverado 2500HD thou comes stock with about 1400KG payload with much higher rated engine(Duramax 335kw/1234nm) and gearbox (Alison branded 10spd). Would you consider doing a Silverado HD2500 anytime?

The red arc go block is a great idea but you might aswell put a full dual battery system as the price tag of $2945 is just ridiculous
But with his viewer numbers, he beats any commercial that redarc would have to pay a lot of money for ;)
Hi Justin, love your reviews. I have just taken delivery of this same vehicle. One great feature of the digital rear view mirror is that a camera on the rear of the trailer, in my case a caravan, allows you to get great visibility of traffic behind the trailer, activated by Tow/Haul switch. Well, this is what Mopar and the marketing videos say, but My local RAM dealer has not been able to find out how to do it or what kits are required. Is this something that you have come across or would be interested in given that you do a lot of towing. I would love to find out how to do it, camera specs required, programming required, etc.

Some good A/T are bfgoodrich ko2 or cooper A/T3 and for width wise you would want a 285 or 305 if that help 👍
I’ve got a 2022 ram 2500 and absolutely love it. I’m in the mountains I’m the US and it’s a dream truck to drive, pulls like a champ, rides amazing and is comfortable. You’ll love yours for sure

Thought i over payed for the Engel smart battery box and a lifepo4. Then redarc came out with the goblock. 3k is insane to run the fridge in the missus car

People love giving us crap about our trucks until they get to use them hehe. Enjoy that Cummins! In the future, keep an eye out for the HO Cummins with the AISIN 6 speed pushing out 1000 ft lb of torque.

Is the factory rear air suspension not available in Aus?
Would have thought for what your using the truck for the factory air would be better than coils and bags.
You need to buy the new just launched 3500 which is even more HD.
Picking up our 17 RAM 2500 Laramie in 2 weeks. It'll be our tow rig for the van for the next 12 months.
I was considering engine upgrades (cold air intake, fmic, XL trans pan, fuel Air separator) but if you're not...... I'm questioning my upgrade priorities
You’ll love it!
If you get an intake get an S&B or BANKS stay away from those cone filter ones. Your truck will have pretty good fuel filtration from the factory. A good towing valve body or shift kit will help with towing for and maybe help your 68rfe live longer

Nice truck, not a fan of the white, looks like an ambulance, white mirrors are a bit much, white badges look a bit cheap white tail lights look a bit Chinese , maybe a wrap in flat grey or green would have looked better, but still a nice looking truck, enjoy it.

Great paid ad by Ram trucks. Please mention the shocking payload here in Oz 835 kg. 835 kg-350 kg leaves 485 kg for everything that goes in or on the vehicle including passengers and driver.

Nice paintwork, I'd do the same not a fan of chrome either.. When I get mine it will be a black 2500 night edition definitely with the Cummins...Will do some mods but first thing I'll do is get aftermarket wheels and tires & maybe a canopy...can't wait!

Can you still get the v8 in the 2500
Aftermarket bull bar bumpers are a great safety feature for towing rigs. You can't really evade or quickly stop with a loaded trailer.

there nice but they have 2 big problems 1- they cost an arm and a leg 2- our laws crimp its true towing capacity they can pull up to 9 tonne on a 2500 here you get little over 6 tonne to get the full 9 tonne you need to hold LR and register you vehicle as an LR.

Love your enthusiasm Justin, but the Ram 2500 has the lowest power and tourqe figures out of its competitors. The GMC, Chevy has more, and the Ford F250 has the most in that class. Check out All4Adventure's video on it.

Might want to check that figure on the 2500 there bud. 26 ton is definitely not legal on a 2500 in the US as that's 52,000 lb

Whilst it’s all cool about yet another ram, lets see how far you can push the 6x6 because there hasn’t really been a video on where that vehicle is at or where Aussie manufacturing has advanced since you built the truck. Just seems like all the company’s that built the mega 6 have been pushed to the side. Love the American trucks but… Australian made and owned deserves the respect of let put some more time into our own product. Just some food for thought 💚
Considering there isn’t a car made in Australia and the MEGA was built in Japan 🤔, almost everyone involved in the MEGA6 build is now building gear for RAM in Australia and expanding their product ranges outside of Landcruisers, I think we’re still doing our bit in the industry 😉
